Figured we'd go 'head and start a rap thread, so we can debate who the best rappers or producers are.

Personally, I think Luda is the harderst rapper and Timb is the best producer

Didn't know we had so many rap fans....no?

Oh, well let me take my happy ass to the country music thread and let you know how boring and suicidal your music is. No, I won't because I could give a rats ass about country music. So, if you don't like it, don't say anything. I wasn't asking anyone if they hated rap I asked the ones who listen to rap what artist they liked

Thanks

I used to love rap. 90s baby. Tupac, Snoop, Dre, No Limit. Those were the good days. Then Eminem was good for two albums but he is trash now too. Rap is now officially CRAP.

agreed 100%. is should probably preface this by saying i'm only 24, so i was only in middle school when that stuff was coming out. my friends always make fun of me and ask how in the world i can like all that stuff from the 90's but not like the stuff that is popular now. probably my favorite of all is The Chronic by Dr. Dre. the beats on that cd are great, the rapping is good too, plus it's the cd that introduced the world to snoop dogg.it seems to me that all the stuff that is popular now consists of rediculous bass line, no real beat, and a chorus of 2-4 lines that is repeated over and over again. i'm sure it's great for playing in clubs and whatnot, but i have a tough time getting on board with a song that the artist possibly sat down and came up with in 5 minutes.

If you don't like rap, then why open the thread. I personally like every kind of music except hard rock, and I am ashamed whenever people can not respect others taste. For example, just because I don't like hard rock, if there was a hard rock thread I wouldn't go in there and bash it. Show some respect guys.
