Given the expectations (or lack thereof) prior to the start of the season, I say 7. Could have been an 8 with a tourney birth or better result in the NIT

Ok so 2, and 4 imo make the "we were picked to finish 11th and finished 2nd" argument not very compelling. Now should we of finish 2nd? No, but we had a lot of help from other teams.

Now I do believe we overachieved, but anybody in their right mind would of expected more from golden from freshmen to sophomore year, and more from Tatum.

The thing that makes me excited is Maymon and Stokes having one more year together, but we have to get an outside shooter to relieve the pressure.

It was a dumb preseason prediction to begin with, yes. While handicapped, this team does have some talent. I think I had them 7th.

2nd is still damn impressive, especially considering where we were in December.

As expected. I thought NIT early on, but not a #1 seed. That was greater than I thought.

8 ... 2nd in the SEC when we had been picked 11th preseason is almost worth a perfect 10; the loss to Peay and the way things kind of fell apart late bring the number down. Good season based upon the storm cloud that surrounded the program before it started. I am excited about our future, and proud to have Coach Martin leading the way!!! Go Big Orange!!!!
