Just released Feb 4.

I have loved all the Reachers thus far even if Tom was a midget.

Episode 1 started slow but really picked up.

5 episodes in so far and I like the series. Really like Roscoe.

Anyone watching?

I watched episode 1 and 2.

I like Roscoe too. I knew she'd be hot first time I saw her. I was right. Lol.

I think it's funny such a big deal has been made about people not liking the movies because Tom Cruise was too short compared to the character in the book. This guy is the right build but I don't like him as much as the Tom Cruise Reacher. He sometimes reminds me of Arnold's Terminator.

That said, I like it.

I watched the first episode of The Mayor of Kingstown last night because you said it was good. You're right. A
lot of cussing but seems everything has a lot anymore.

It goes somewhere. Not uselessly gritty. I like Renner, so that influenced me.

Watched first one - I'll give it a few more. I find him relatively unlikeable at this point.

I'm on episode 3, I'm not too fond of him. I didn't really know anything about the character going in except that Cruise was too small to be him.

The TV character is spot on compared to the book character. I enjoyed the Cruise movies but as a fan of the books they felt nothing like a Reacher story.

The book character is quiet and highly intelligent. He rarely says much but when he does speak he couldn't care less what people think. Some fans speculate that he's mildly autistic or on the spectrum.

He doesn't believe in a fair fight and he's always very calm but brutal.

given all the references in this series to his height I'm just kept thinking how in the fudge did the cast Cruise for this

never saw the Cruise version - did they portray him as a big fella or just ignore that part

Ignored it. He’s got enough action star chops to make it work, imo. I enjoyed the first movie more. But, I confess, I didn’t read the books.

For me this is a very close adaptation of the Books.

This character is spot on.

The Tom Cruise movies were good. Great action and adventure movies - but wasn’t close to the book character- very Hollywood.

Both are very good. Just in different ways.

I agree the series is spot on for the books and he pulls it off perfectly. For fans of the books this is awesome. Now if they do a Mitch Rapp series….

I've seen the movies and liked them. Why would I read the books and ruin the movie experience? Lol.
I read killing floor like 10 years ago and still enjoyed the series. The Lee Child books are the best. Hope they make more series but we will see. Anyway, if you like the movies I’m just saying you would burn through the books and like them.
