Read and React Request for those still Believing Russiagate

Not aimed at you but at misreporting in general. Barr's memo is not and was never a "summary". It was a summary of the "principle conclusions". He summarizes the most important conclusions; he did not summarize the report and never claimed to have done so.

and for the millionth time (again not aimed at you) Barr never so much as hinted this is all he was going to release about the report. I know it's hard to see that if you read posts on this board.
It looks like the Mueller team called Barr out on his rosy summary (call it whatever you want) and Barr's clarification that what he wrote was just a "summary of the principle conclusions" was his way of acknowledging (for their sake) that yes, there is some information contained in the Mueller report which would be damaging to the reputation of Trump and some of his associates (perhaps even family members) if/when revealed. Barr will now try to have that information redacted... and this is where the fight commences.

If he keeps his word, great.
If this does not turn out to be the case, what will be your position?

I'll certainly want to know why and I can't imagine a scenario that would justify it.

That's 100% different though then openly suggesting he was never planning to release anymore and setting artificial deadlines, issuing subpoenas and having silly hastags #ReleasetheReport.

Basically the left has been calling him a liar from the start. Hard to justify that eh?

you are just making crap up

I'm also more convince than ever that you didn't read (or comprehend) the article you are referring to. It explains clearly why he likely did not include in his summary the things that SOME in Mueller's office wish he had.

Thank God you are ready to "commence the fight" to protect us all...

Barr’s full summary of the report is all we’re ever going to see. Not sure why you think otherwise.
Maybe because Barr, Trump, and every republican said they want the report released.???

LOL! He doesn't explain any such thing. Barr was simply trying to paint as pretty a picture for Trump as possible in order to establish the narrative.... and then hopefully, by the time the Mueller report is revealed, the American people won't pay attention to any damaging information that is disclosed because they would have already settled on his narrative being the defining version. It was a good strategy.

It will certainly be unjustified if it turns out Barr was planning to do the right thing all along. Otherwise, completely justified.

From the NYT article

The fallout from Mr. Barr’s letter outlining the Russia investigation’s main findings overshadowed his intent to make public as much of the entire report as possible, a goal he has stressed since his confirmation hearing in January. He reiterated to lawmakers on Friday that he wanted both Congress and the public to read the report and said that the department would by mid-April furnish a version with sensitive material blacked out. He offered to testify on Capitol Hill soon after turning over the report.
I get what you are saying, but I'm sceptical of this administration. So I'll believe it when the full (redacted) report drops.

Confirmed - you either didn't read or comprehend the article. I didn't say Barr explained it; I said the article explained it.

The rest of your comments are not the conclusion or even contention of the article. It is your view (that depends on ignoring plenty of reporting in the very article you are referencing).

Think of all the redactions and edits that are happening now while the report is hidden away in Barr’s office.
I would be amazed if anything but that was happening. But then again, I confidently assume Trump is desperately trying to hide many things in the report.

I'm not not skeptical. I'm also skeptical of how much people have vested in believing the collusion story. I agree that the final proof is in the report being made available.

However, Dems (nationally and here) have invented the story that Barr doesn't plan to release any more. It flies in the face of all evidence to date. In the unlikely event nothing more gets released I'll join the complainers.

The entire team or a certain individual(s)? If so why won’t they go on record and give their version? Are they gonna contradict Mueller when he said there was no collusion? Are they gonna give their version on the possible obstruction? We all know why the obstruction bs was tossed in and we all know it will never pan out considering the individual in question.

If you read the article it's second hand. The sources are people in DOJ that say some people on Team Mueller complained that Barr's memo didn't include more.

Well like I alluded to in my earlier post, there is a lot of distrust among the Left and others toward the Trump administration and his appointees. Can't really fault people for assuming a cover up is underway with the current Cabinet and President's track record of truthfulness.
Like you said, releasing the report is the only way to marginally put this to bed, aside from the birther types that will never let go.

It is screwed up, no argument from me. I keep hoping we've reached rock bottom, but obviously we haven't yet.

you don't have to participate but it appears you are on board.

why work from a position that Barr is a POS partisan that will only protect Trump rather than do his job and hope he proves you wrong by releasing the report?

Lol. It’s uncovered more corruption by the left than anything. It’s weird how that gets downplayed.
