Real Estate Team Name

Instead of alpha omega, which sounds odd to me, how about A&O Realty? (Or a play off that - AO OA, O&A, etc), I mean that's still a little odd, but that's because I'm in the medical field so it means something entirely different.

I hope my real estate agent is A&O X 4 during negotiations.

Imo op you want something more "down to earth" than what was proposed. Something simple but not "country".

Husband and Wife Realtors (if you are the only two, I may have missed it)
North East Realtors (location)
River Realtors (alliteration and maybe location idk)
Appalachia Realtors (again idk how close you are to them)

another option might be to play on your office address. If your address is 123rd Main St; you might try 123rd Realtors or Main St. Realtors. something specific to your group but not people specific. And it helps on business cards and familiarity. This won't work everywhere as some name/numbers are dumb.

not overly suggesting any of the above but more giving you some naming conventions.

OK ... since my play on southern "rasslin" with the original Carter Family "Keep on the Sunnyside" as a theme ---incorporating TWO of OP's original criteria, fell on it's face; I'm now going with

"Sunnyside Realtors"

I really like it. The unspoken "side of the street" is suggested by "Sunnyside" and is really a triple entendre: 1: The suggestion of the company's attitude and a client's anticipation of a pleasing choice of doing business with "Sunnyside".

2: A description of the property on the "Sunnyside of the Street"

3: And where the song lyrics tell us that making a concious decision to "Keep on the Sunnyside" leads to more fulfillment.

You can't go wrong choosing the name you yourself suggest.

As for the "rasslin" thing ... I'd let that go. Unless you want to incorporate something like:

"We'll sell your house if we have to beat potential buyers into submission"!

I didn't want to go with wrestling in the name or anything like that. I just used that as an example that I understand how wrestlers sell themselves with their "gimmick" or hook or whatever you want to call it. The name of the team is a gimmick in itself. I have to walk a fine line of not being overly country since there are so many that already play to that gimmick around here. It's a tight rope............but I really do appreciate all of the feedback. It helps me know what other people think and some real honest opinions.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I would probably not go with any of those three names. I have dealt with a number of higher-profile realtors in the past few years, so I have a little experience from which to speak. Go with something clean and professional, not hokey or misleading. Your work and word of mouth will get clients, not a goofy slogan.

Congratulations on the recent success, though, and I hope the business continues to grow.

This.

If you hit the nail on the head with a creative name, then good for you, but chances are you will just come out of it looking unprofessional. I would say go for something totally professional, or something that straddles the line.

Maybe you could go with something meaningful to you that also sounds professional. For example, maybe you and your wife have always loved the Andy Griffith show, so you go with Mayberry Realty. It's easy to remember, and people (especially in the south) already have a positive association with the word Mayberry.

"Mayberry?...sounds like a nice place to live."

I just talked with the lead broker/agent of one of the top 100 teams in the United States. He actually suggested Alpha Omega. There were a couple of others on the table as well but he liked the beginning to end slogan and hook that the tagline provides. I do appreciate the opinions on here though. It's nice to see what others think. He told me if I were in Dallas, Miami, Tampa, Vegas, Phoenix, etc that the Yin-Yang would take off but not in Northeast Tennessee. Which I get. And he said to steer away from something that sounds too "country" for these parts too. He advised that Alpha Omega was catchy enough to remember but also sounded professional.

Unless another idea pops up in the next two weeks I like better I definitely will be leaning towards that at least of the few I originally mentioned.

I just don't get the Alpha/Omega thing. To me, it sounds extremely generic.

I don't like any of the three either, for the same reasons mentioned above. I think the following sound a little more professional ...

Masters Realty
Touchstone Realty
Benchmark Realty

I'm not crazy about any of the 3 but
I thought O& A and make the logo interlocking letters and the slogan the end of your search begins here

I like that tagline........

Here's a logo done by someone with actual talent after I told them kind of what I was looking for. Definitely looks more real estate now.

I'm in my first year and was invited to team with an agent in my office who is having a huge year and basically just needs extra hands, time, and effort.

It's just The *her full name* Team. Everyone knows her, she does crazy business, and I obviously don't care about using her name opposed to mine. If people recognize her name and relate with really good service, then it's good.

As for catchy slogans, we went simple. "Same Quality, New Energy."

I agree with this. You should use your last name. You want people to know who you are

I really do appreciate the feedback I've received here. After careful consideration, and after talking with a couple of more market leaders, we are going to go for the Alpha Omega deal. If I'm wrong and it doesn't pan out then I can definitely say I had been forewarned by a few of you. After sitting down and really talking to a few of these people though and knowing exactly what my vision for this is they all agreed that it was a good move to try to stick out from the other competition.

Here's an update to the logo.......still not finalized but getting closer.

Alpha Omega Real Estate "Selling God's Country"

I would avoid it at all costs. You are going to bring in every thumper in the region and they will all be problematic.

My personal favorite although maybe more apropos to a legal firm is Dewey, Cheatum, and Howe
