I think Jeff Fisher would be a great catch (pardon the pun). But besides that, how 'bout Kirk Ferentz? He may not be at Iowa much longer.

Wonder if Dan Mullen would be interested? I am sure it sucks playing in front of a packed house with only 55,000 people in the stands.

I'm thinking it will be Smart or Tuberville with Smart the number one choice. I think Petrino is going to Auburn and Patterson may be going to Arkansas. Chucky more than likely Philadelphia Eagles.

Yeah, might as well kept the dodo lander. Sure, we will be 2-10 next year. But there is more to life than winning football games. There is also butterfly watching. If we have really really really stinky football in bog orange country, then they allows be to focus more of my time on my second hobby...butterfly watching. If a really focus my skills perhaps this next year and I can spot and photograph the extremely rare lime colored rhinoceros coconut o'roy jerky treat butterfly. That would be such a wonderful accomplishment and would be far superior to defeating Alabama in the game of football.

Awww man, Old Timers just hit like a ton of bricks...I am so sorry for the loss of your mental faculties there Sir :)

FYI In the first game of last season Boise put a whoopin on the eventual SEC East champs UGA.. Other than SoCar, it was their only reg season loss.

Thank you. I forgot about that one. Was that the 1st or 2nd year in the 3-4 for UGA? Having a 23 month old makes me forget stuff sometimes.

And yet, he is still somehow unemployed with that record.

Fulmer is gone.

Kiffin is gone.

Dooley will soon be gone.

Does no good to live in the past of monumental failure that has been UT football for the better part of a decade.

Don't believe that part is accurate as much as some would like it to be.

We never lost scholarships. Only thing that remotely hurts us is that we can't give free tickets to the first 2 conference games in '13 to our recruits.

That's only half right. Recruits on OFFICIAL visits can still get tickets. Recruits on UNofficial visits cannot get free tickets. (to UGA and So Carolina)

How old is Cutcliffe? I would like to see someone that is a proven winner in college and is going to be around for several years,

Gruden is a name only. No one has a clue if he can coach or recruit in college. He would have instant impact, but would it last at all? Maybe. Why would Dabo leave Clemson for UT? Clemson has good facilities, lots of money, better recruiting area and a much easier conference. Cutcliff might be able to win, but it would be real difficult in todays world for him to convince anyone they should play for him over Saban,Miles, Richt or Spurrier. UT has to have a great recruiter to make up for our geographical disadvantage. Those who are demanding the Dooley be fired, and UT eat the 5 million buyout, need to be prepared for an initially disappointing hire along with the probable drop-off in recruiting class this year.

Charle strong / keep Chaney ,Pittman, graham offense not broke fix the defense so what u think?

Very unlikely. Us keeping Chaney after Kiffin left is by far the exception. Head coaches must be given the option of hiring their entire staff. I could possibly see Graham staying due to his rep and connections to UT.

With the chance to coach in the SEC with a team with the winning tradition UT has had in the past, there are a lot of coaches out there that would be interested in the job with a reasonable offer. Dabo Swinney, Chris Peterson, Charlie Strong, Gus malzahn, and several other experienced head coaches with winning records would be some possibilities.

Dabo Swinney won't leave Clemson. Maybe if enough money is thrown at him, but money is tight. Chris Petersen won't leave BS for any amount of money. He has a child with a rare health issue (not sure exactly what) and the country's leading physician specializing is in Boise. Wouldn't be suprised if Malzahn ends up at Arkansas, and Charlie Strong I don't know about.
