I would love to pluck back Maclin and Malone from LSU and Bama at the last minute - ala Teague.

It's interesting to note that X has said that LB position is worrisome this year. He thinks we might be a little behind the curve on snagging the LBs that we really need.

I think we have a realistic shot at Ego. He will be one of the guys we land on signing day IMO. Prater would be a big get from up north, I just think that he's the top WR on our board and we are going to throw everything we can at him. We have about a 35% chance of landing him I think. Ambles is a question mark. I think we could land him if we want him. I think more schools are going to stop recruiting him or slow play him. Not sure what's going to happen there really.

Thats not gonna happen. Maclin has already said we're recruiting him the hardest and we aren't even in the top 3. He's basically committed to getting the hell out of dodge.

Malone we have a little bit better shot with, but it's still very very doubtful. He knows Bama only has a couple slots for WRs and he jumped all over that when he had the chance.

Kudos on that list... very realistic IMO. Switch Vogler with another tight end and it is a very solid list...

alot of our recruiting class on the offensive side depends on what Scoggins does imo...if he comes none of those guys will be unrealistic to land.

I totally agree.

Scroggins is the first domino.

I have a feeling that our staff is going to pull out a fantastic surprise or two. I think we'll lose one or two and then get the big whammies that no one would have predicted. Maybe like a Henderson, Luc, or Anthony Barr.

And the nickname "Sab" is a lot better than "Sabo" IMO. Maybe it's because i have an annoying friend named Sabo though.

I think you're right millst987 if we get Scroggins then we could basically get all those players because they they have a good quarterback throwing them the ball. I saw a video on rivals, it had Jose Jose on it and he said that he's excited about being able to block for a guy like Bryce Brown.

alot of the four stars on that list will be five stars and alot of the three's will be four's...this is most likely a top five class if we can pull it.

Top 5 for sure. Impressive since we need so many O and D lineman. 2011 will be sick especially if we win 7-9 games and beat a major rival or two.

youre not the first person ive seen say that. what makes you think he will decommit? im not saying youre wrong, i just havent heard anything to suggest that. please fill me in :)

He pretty much said that if he gets an LSU offer, that's where he's going. That was a while back, though, so who knows what may have changed.

Basically, the kid grew up an LSU fan. LSU said they would offer if he could get his grades up.

At this point, he's not on track to qualify. I'm thinking he's gonna try to use Orgerons academic plan to get on track, and then if LSU offers, bolt.

Or either, he just won't make the grade and end up in JuCo/Prep

You can go ahead and make that 3 5stars and 13 4stars cuz Rivals has done said Prater will be a 5star when the new rankings come out next week...
