Just think, Keaton has caught thousands of passes in practice. He doesn't do it when needed in the game. He's a 'choker'. He chokes when the easiest of passes can be caught. You can't tell me someone over there on the sideline can't run routes and catch passes. Heard a 'homer' on a call in show saying we need more time to develop a passing attack and for the receivers catching passes. Nope, that's what practice is for, idiot. Bring it from all of the hundreds of pass routes ran THIS YEAR in practice to the game. If you don't have it by now you never will. Replace him. Give the next one in line a chance to show he can be counted on cause we're not seeing that from Keaton.

His name is "Keyton" not "Keaton". You should know that, considering he's a senior and has played a ton of snaps for the Vols.

The highlighted portion is not true. If you'll recall, he has had some incredible, important catches in his career. Like the 99 yard TD drive before halftime against Florida in 2022 when he had the best catch of the season and SC top 10 on a 43 yard layout. Or in the final drive against Bama when he caught an 18yd pass to set us up at the 50yd line, before the pass to Bru for the game winner.

He didn't choke in those huge moments did he? No. He's never been known for making inexplicable drops until this season. We can speculate on the reasons for that all we want, but its not because thats who he's always been... because there's proof it isn't.

See we’ve moved on from hating on Hadden. Keyton could drop every pass the rest of the season and I wouldn’t care. His catch against Florida makes up for it. I’m not sure we win that game without it.

Me might've not beaten Bama without his catch on the final drive.

Making one big catch in a game last year doesn't excuse dropping multiple TD passes this year. Players have to perform, or they should ride the pine while someone else DOES perform.

Wicked. I saw this photo posted on FB earlier but they said it was the Blue Ridge Mountains.

But I've taken a photo just like this in late Fall right outside Gatlinburg. They get this effect a lot and it's insane to see in person. We probably had 50 people parked and just looking at something like this. First time I had ever seen it and still think about the majestic beauty of it.

Haven't seen the Bama board this obsessed and worried about us since pre-Saban. They can't even stomach the idea of losing B2B to us.

This is their super bowl.

Though one of them did make a good point - feels like it could be a 2015 type of smashmouth game and the team that's successful with under 3 mins wins the game. Let's wear these sisterbangers out!!

We wouldn't have. . . that dude obviously hasn't watched UT more than this season. If he had, he would know that Keyton has made great, important catches. Thats why it's irritating to see his drops, we all know he can do it. . . but one thing he has always done is not go 100% on some of his routes. Many of Hookers deep incompletions were due to Keyton laying off the gas a little soon.

You misunderstood the guy you responded to, so I corrected you. Keyton has the coaches’ trust more than the guys on the pine so I’ll ride with the coaches

Admittedly I was shocked when I moved to Western NC and learned they were the Blue Ridge Mountains...and further east was the Pisgah Forest.

No. I didn’t misunderstand the guy’s post. Keyton made some big catches last year. He doesn’t get a lifetime pass for that. He has been a bust this year.

I've not crunched the numbers, but I can say Wright won't be a 1st rounder and the yearly $$$ available for RBs is already pretty low compared to other offensive positions. So that extra year of NIL money and another season of what will likely be a better offense (Nico in year 2) next year could help his draft stock a ton.

Wright is 26th in the country in rushing yards, 16th in YPC, and 227th in rushing TDs (he only has 1) and the NFL rarely drafts a single RB in the 1st so unless he finishes the season strong it's a big uphill battle.

Talk him into coming back, developing as a receiver out of the backfield and that we will use him in some of the packages we use Sampson in. Another 1000 rushing season with a 200-300 receiving yards and 8+ TD's would do wonders for his draft position. Multi-threat guys with his speed and vision get paid much more than standard RBs in the league.
