that's cool. would love to visitMe too. WW2 hits hard to me. Visited the Holocaust Museum in New Orleans and DC. Toured the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam. I have been to Dachau and Auschwitz Nazi Concentration Camps. Chilling. Words can’t describe the feelings and emotions you have walking there at the grounds. Vietnam Wall times 100.
A RB screen sure would be nice to call in certain spots. With Bru out, and Keyton clearly struggling, I don't understand why we don't use our TEs more. We also need Squirrel to get going. And if Thornton gets healthy, we need him to start producing. With his size and speed, he should be special, but, like Keyton, he's struggled.
Wonder if CJH has any special wrinkles for throwing more to the RBs?
Just need Joe him to be capable. That's the bittersweet irony of this season. D has way outperformed expectations, but that's largely negated by Joe's issues. He continues to make Fr and Soph mistakes, to the point ppl are calling for Gaston. To followup on the QB conversation. I just ran across these stats on the SEC website.
By every measure, Joe Milton is the 2nd or 3rd worst QB in the SEC. I’m STILL glad he’s the starter right now. Heupel has us at 5-1 with a reasonable chance at 8-9 wins. Our running game is flourishing and the defense is growing stronger every week. The players and coaches are building confidence and this team loves Joe. Nico is our future and Joe is showing him how to be a leader. This is the long game.

I know the surgery, in a month he will be able to run but the ability to cut will be affected and he will be in pain. The tendons take a long time to heal and will still be torqued when he makes a lateral movement which is an requirement of a receiver. Tightrope is essentially an internal ankle brace. He won't be healed for 6 months. The trademarked surgery is designed to have the patients rehabbing within mere days, running and able to perform sports like movements in 3 weeks, with appropriate pain management continued throughout their “recovery”. And you’re right about Tua. He didn’t play tight end or receiver. He’s also not built like brock bowers. All I’m saying is, I’m not getting my hopes up that he won’t play if we somehow still have only one loss when we play them, nearly 5 weeks from yesterday.
My big concern is that Milroe escapes the pressure a lot and gashes us for first downs or TDs when scrambling.
This will 100% turn the game on it's head and Bama will have a clear advantage.
Whatever team has to play from behind will struggle. If it's us, we won't run as much. If it's them, our pass rush will destroy them.
I’m not sure you do. And how do you figure? The normal recovery time for a high ankle sprain is 6-8 weeks. You only do tightrope surgery if you’re trying to beat that recovery timeline. And you’re claiming 6 months. That’s just not true.I know the surgery, in a month he will be able to run but the ability to cut will be affected and he will be in pain. Pain will subside in a couple months but the tendons will not be fully healed for a long time. A player with a high ankle wears a brace or is heavily taped for months. I don’t think we see Milroe run or try to escape much. The rumor of his hamstring issues is starting to rise again. The past two games he hasn’t been mobile and has took plenty more sacks. I know the media in bama country have stated it’s not true but you can definitely tell something is going on with him.My big concern is that Milroe escapes the pressure a lot and gashes us for first downs or TDs when scrambling.

The numbers bear out that he got injured a couple of weeks ago. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t healed up since, but it’s not like he’s been resting or avoiding hits.I don’t think we see Milroe run or try to escape much.
