Alright folks, let's play a game.

Right now, we are averaging 8 penalties, 69.2 yards/game
Our opponents are averaging 6.2 penalties, 46.7 yards/game

How many penalties will we have on Saturday, and how many will Alabama have?

I'm going to say 11 for us, 5 for them
14 penalties on us ( 8 false starts/offsides, 6 PI’s/ETC) for 130 yards

And theyll have 4 penalties for 25 yards.. because bama refs

@butcha why would Philadelphia sign Julio Jones.?.whose best years are laying in Atlanta...they have A.J.Brown and Devonta Smith makes zero sense...
Injuries? Smith didn’t practice with a hamstring this week. Hoping he has a pulse to buy some time with a minimum contract imo.

Car/insurance folks:

Had a rock from one of those DA trucks hit my windshield on the interstate. It's grown and I think the windshield needs to be replaced. Safelite is nearly $900. Is it better to file with insurance or pay OOP? Are there cheaper options than Safelite or is that about normal?

For sure cheaper options than safelite... I don't think I've paid more than $400 for a windshield replacement, ever. Shop that around.

People tend to remember the catches and forget the misses. Hooker had a couple misses every game.
Difference is they were erased from memories by gaudy plays and numbers. So far Milton has had to throw into tighter windows than Hooker usually had to. I mean last year we had at least one wide open receiver on every play. We don't have the same receivers anymore.
A big reason that the windows are tighter this year is because Joe is not throwing the ball when it needs to be thrown, or he doesn’t identify who is open /coming open.

Definitely check with your insurance company before you pay OOP. A lot of insurance companies will have a much lower deductible (sometimes even $0) for glass/windshields. Safelite is definitely the highest around as well.

Biggest issue with Joe at QB this year is like you said. Teams aren’t worried about the long ball. Hopefully Alabama makes that mistake and we finally connect on some.
We won't connect if the refs let DBs mug the WR while the ball is in the air. I think we were spoiled last year when our WRs got enough separation that DBs couldn't assault them.

“Another hobnail boot” said like he witnessed his dog being put down moments after he went mental with excitement after Georgia’s Hail Mary should tell you something.

I won’t comment on you officiating take, but your opinions on Gary seem off. He clearly has favorites. He clearly doesn’t like Tennessee. Even Paul Finebaum couldn’t hold his tongue anymore.
I totally agree with you though. Do what I do. Find tickets to the game if he's on the call or watch it in mute.

I haven't heard Gary speak words in probably two years lol.

It's just a weird thing to get worked up about imo. The officiating, that makes sense. But the commentary? Dude is gone next year anyway. Ruining games for a different conference.

Can anyone explain why the Big ten gets these big early games? Why is Penn State vs OSU at noon? And seemingly a lot of big games are at noon for them. What an advantage for teams to play at noon instead of at night in these stadiums.

Big Ten is contracted with Fox. Fox puts their big game at noon for better ratings and competition against lesser games, which are typically slotted at noon.

Fox gets first choose...on Big Ten games..NBC for some reason showing the scrub games in Primetime...unless Notre Dame is playing a big game...
