Recruiting Football Talk VII

Even if the illegal fair catch or whatever is really a rule it needs to be changed. There is no way that the returner can know that the other guy slighty raised his arms , while trying to catch a football with 11 dudes running full speed down the field to tackle him.
NSIAP we aren’t the only ones screwed with stupid fair catch calls:

I can’t believe we lost, what, 25 yards that game for clapping and holding our hands wrong.

How do you do that though? If their intent is to keep you down, there's really not much you can do. Other schools won't join you because they're getting the cash to stay quiet. You're really on an island. You speak publicly and your fined and labeled a poor sport. Media, even though I believe many know how it works, won't say anything due to being cut off. You can't withhold money.

The only way is to start by removing corrupt leaders starting with Skanky and moving down. Don't think that's going to happen either. The SEC offices need to be moved yesterday. That's not happening either.
There is almost no point in even watching...it is just as rigged as professional wrestling.

Surely to goodness all the apologists and naysayers will admit that this was pure corruption after that criminal abomination.

This is sickening...I love the Vols..but what the hell is even the point?

Love you guys(we'll a lot of you anyway) but I think I'm gonna check out for a while.

This is pure rigged 🦬💩.

Those thinking we'll get a fair shake at KY, or Missouri are sadly mistaken. If we're not getting calls, at home against the likes of UTSA, why would one think we'll get them away against another SEC teams. Skanky saw what Tennessee could be last year. Tennessee is a risk to their manufactured hierarchy, unlike KY or MO. They don't want to see a Tennessee as a national contender. They don't want Tennessee to be a threat. They're intentionally trying to keep Tennessee down.
This is the truth

we need the compilation video stat
Yes, completely agree. Show every play where Bama held, committed DPI and mule kicked with no flag. It needs to be posted on X and let Vol Twitter run with it and tag the SEC and Sankey. If it's well done, just showing the clips without over the top commentary and just the facts I think it would go viral and create awareness.

Yea Im not allowed to post facts. Only standstill Screenshots

Not sure why he expects me to make a legitimate response when he twists what I say, makes up bs and uses a strawman argument
If he wants a super subjective assessment of all the calls that went against Bama, it's really simple. Go to a Bama message board and read them from last year or any game that they lost. There will be Orange. Doppelgangers saying the same ****, minus the "But muh Birmingham" nonsense.

By my estimation, the worst the officiating has gone against us so far this year was against AP. I'd love to hear the argument there. Maybe the SEC has a satellite office in Clarksville.

The SEC officials are terrible. Just awful. It's just not worth it to get a pen and paper and keep a record of all the bad calls that go against the opponent. I'm just going to enjoy the games. Meanwhile if the tin foil hat crew can somehow honestly enjoy cheering for a team that has been scripted by the SEC to lose, more power to them I guess.

Watching the Eagles game, which made me think…what the heck happened to Derek Barnett? Saw he didn’t play at in 2022 and has barely played this year according to ESPN. Feels like he was a huge part of their DL for a few years now he doesn’t even play?

Nah. ESPN was more tore up about Schiano than the SEC.

This is about old South hate, Birmingham gumps, and Philip Fulmer being part of getting them in trouble over paying Albert Means.

It’s more than the old South hate. It’s about layers, starting with the Fulmer hate in Gump land with the Albert Means stuff. The hate for us has always been there, but this started this fast forward bias we see now.

Their dline is stacked now. He got hurt in 2022 and then they also switched to a 3-4 defense. Just an unfortunate situation for him

He was injured last year and their DL is pretty ridiculous right now. Surprised they haven’t traded or waived him honestly. I just don’t see him factoring into their defense right now.

The teams that Bama is playing in those weeks when the flags are thrown are teams they can beat with the penalties. The refs clearly saw we were the better team out of the gates, so what was a clean game being called ended up getting tipped to Bama, because the SEC office saw something needed to happen to change momentum.

The game was never called clean. We just were able to overcome it in the first half.

Even if Seldon illegally advanced it (I dont think he did), theres nothing in the rule book about waving your hands and it being an ‘illegal play and play is dead there’ type of deal. If they ruled it as some kind of fair catch, it should have been placed at the 20 yard line, considering the 5 yard penalty associated with it. In no way should that play have resulted us on the 4 yardline.

I was at the game yesterday, when they called Joe short and then we went for it on 4th & 1 and didn’t get it, there was a bama fan sitting in front of me that turned around and said “I’m sorry that was a terrible spot.” Even the bama fans saw the corruption
Plenty of Bama fans I know were seeing it and commenting on it. Spoke with one Friday before the game about gambling, sports and corruption. They don’t like it either because they know the tables can turn and it’s not really fun to see what appears to be games decided somewhere other than on the field.
