I mean, something weird was going on. It’s one thing to lose. That happens in college football. Hapless UVA just beat undefeated top 10 UNC. But by 4 points. 63-38? I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anything like it. Maybe that year a 6-win Purdue team beat Ohio State 49-20, I guess.I don’t think Tennessee fans are reaching at all with this story. That game was such an anomaly.

Or when Iowa beat them the year before. Maybe when Baylor beat K-State in 2012 tooI mean, something weird was going on. It’s one thing to lose. That happens in college football. This. Especially during the game last year when everyone was in awe that the QB who had sucked his whole career was miraculously making completions under complete duress. Almost like he knew the pressure would be there, and which part of the field would be open.If you know a blitz is coming, you can adjust presnap with no fear of being wrong. Big advantage, IMO, especially if you know where it's coming from.
Meharble is/has been the gm in reality. He orchestrated JR firing and got a “yes” man hired. The oilers are built in mv concept, defense and ball control offense. You can blame it on Jon Robinson, who handcuffed this organization massively with bad contracts and no draft picks. Ownership fired him for his screw ups. Gotta give the new GM a chance while he’s being hamstrung from previous GM. (Kinda like how Heupel has been hamstrung by scholarship restrictions and ncaa investigation previously looming)
Y’all non-titans fans fail to realize that
Knowing whst the defense is running is the biggest advantage you can have in football just about. We blitzed heavy that night so rattler could have checked presnap every play to shift the protection and run/throw it where the gaps are in the coverage. It explains why their wr’s were constantly openMy hunch is that stealing defensive signals is not going to gain you much if anything (for ScJr). I remember watching the game and thinking Rattler couldn't miss on anything he threw. He threw dimes all night, and our D acted like they could not tackle anyone. It did fell "off" as you put it be Carolina had not come close to being that good all year long to that point.
I know what happened to Jimmy Hoffa. It’s a great read btw.

What year did that happen? Maybe they purchased the signs from Michigan for that game?I mean, something weird was going on. It’s one thing to lose. That happens in college football. Jrob drafted so many busts it was unbelievable. Vrabel’s face on draft night was pure disgust when they traded away AJB…You can blame it on Jon Robinson, who handcuffed this organization massively with bad contracts and no draft picks. I know y’all don’t want to hear this, but Jeremy Banks is why we lost that game. He was the QB and the heart and soul of our defense last year.If south carolina beat us something like 31-24 or something around what they beat Clemson like, then I wouldn’t think there was anything fishy going on, but something didn’t seem right with the UT/USCjr game last year
