When two people become enemies, their 'people' take sides. It's pretty much that simple.I understand your fanhood began with another. Johnny was before my time, but I know the chronicles of Vol history and love him for what he did. Fulmer stands on the shoulders of what Majors did. So no I actually do not get your disdain for Fulmer. You’re choosing a favorite at the expense of hating the other. I don’t get that.
But I don’t have to. You have your thoughts and opinion. We should leave it at that. Screw the clowns that came after him though, right? Lol. GB![]()
I think this is a good eye-test game for people outside of Tennessee. Like you said, NCSU and BC struggled with them. Duke dominated them. If we dominate them I think that actually looks good for us more than just "oh they beat up on a cupcake".In no way do I think UConn can beat us, but they are not the push over they use to be. They have not played anyone as good as us, unless you count their early season game with Duke (41-7 loss for UConn). They do not quit and they will fight.
They gave Boston College and NC State a pretty good game. Duke is the only team able to fully pull away from them and completely dominate them. They are run heavy on offense which plays into our hand.
Vols 45
UConn 14
If we win by a larger margin, then it bodes well for the rest of our season.
So you didn't watch either game... That's cool.
Still threw for 200 and gave us a chance to win in the end. With a tiny 2 game sample, he's looked very good. Especially compared to his peers in this class.
It's also pretty impressive of the Falcons to be winning their division, have a top 5 defense in YPG, and still be one of the worst teams in the NFL apparently...lol
i think it’s a mixture…. the tighter the windows… the harder it is for joe…. he also struggles with reading his keys to know when to pull it and run… we will probably see huge improvement with Nico if he has a better grasp on the mental side of the game. Also fair point.
So this tells us we need to still lean on passing in the RZ? Then they need more go-to plays like HH was so good at. If too late for Joe, I have no doubt Nico will be good at such plays.
