I’m saying his contract runs out and Heupel will assess him and who could be available and then make a decision. I’m perfectly fine with Banks coming back if that’s where we go.
I wonder if SEC games were randomly assigned officiating crews from other conferences and SEC crews were assigned to officiate games for other conferences if it would change things at. BIG officials may screw up calls but I wonder if they would call an SEC more straight up do to not having a dog in the fight?
Because both can be true. Our pass rush hid the same deficiencies we have seen for all his time here. While we are getting held, offenses have changed the way they play. They are leaving more blockers in. We continue to try and get there with 4 dropping 7 into coverage. That's fine if you're going to cover the receivers but we leave huge cushions. In those instances, we have 7 in the secondary against their 4 receivers. We can double all but one but we don't cover any. At the same time, we are trying to go against 6 blockers with 4 guys. Add in a little holding and the numbers are against you. I've always said you better do one thing well. If you're not going to pressure the passer, you sure as heck better cover. We're not doing either.
