I don't think the Titans can go back to RT.
Levis has played well and I wouldn't want to screw with his confidence. It's his team now.................run with it.

I wasn't happy when he was drafted, but I can see WL being a really good NFL QB.

Former Titan players say that Levis has all the tools to be great....and has impressed them in his work ethic. FWIW.....................
I've been impressed, but in the short sample size he's done what he did at Kentucky. Play inexplicably incredible in 1 game. Play good enough to win in the next game, but fail to lead a drive to pull away with the lead, then have the opportunity to win the game and commit a game-ending turnover.

What was painful about that interception was that he had just thrown the same ball to the sane route and should've had it picked but the defender dropped it. Then he went right back and did it again.

Maybe with more talent around him than he had at Kentucky it's a different story. But I agree with you, you have to move forward with him. At least through his rookie contract. Kinda like with Mariota - Give him everything he needs and if he can't get it done you bring in someone who can.

Oh yay a pointless bowl game, who cares.

On the other hand, we beat UGA, Saban beats UGA in Atlanta. Saban gets in the playoffs and win #7. Do you want to be the reason for another Saban title?
I want to see UT win football games. I can't control the playoff and rankings BS. We only get so many football games per year and we have had to endure some real garbage over the last 15 years. I will not take a single game for granted and if we make a "pointless" bowl game and not a playoff game then it is just one more opportunity for me to watch the Vols play football.

He’d be stupid to come back. Gotta get to the nfl asap as a RB
Avge salary for NFL RB was $2.3 this year. His NIL eval is $619K. Gotta think he's in a really good position this year. He's put up these numbers, with veteran line. He gains nothing by coming back. He's had two very good backs to split load, legs are fresh, and stock is high.

Even if League Minumum is $650K that's a a solid pay increase, pre supposing that's an actual NIL figure.

Again, coming back only increases chances of getting hurt behind an all new line.

Maybe over a million people will care if we are in another NY6 bowl and it will set the tone going into the next season just like how our orange bowl win did.

Or do you still refuse to admit the orange bowl mattered?

Yesterday was a pointless football game. The outcome was known from the beginning. I enjoyed every minute of that pointless game.

Plus it’s all about getting to that second contract for RBs. That’s where generational money comes in and better to get it at 26/27 and still have a chance for a 3rd contract before 30.

Makes no sense for RBs to come back becaus they also have a very small chance to improve their draft stock. He could still ball out and still probably has a 3rd-4th round ceiling

Thought: Vols beat Mizzou.
Georgia beats Ole Miss.
Vols get favorable whistle at home against Georgia (even bolder) and preserve home win streak.

Georgia goes to SEC Championship and curb-stomps Bama. Georgia goes to playoff with 1 close loss on the road to a Top 10. Bama and Vols gets NY6 bowls again and finish Top 10.

This would actually be best case scenario for the SEC, in theory, with LSU and Ole Miss getting the next best bowls.

I think a 1 loss Georgia still gets in, because Washington is not instilling much confidence and imo Georgia's resume will be better than the loser of OSU/UM.

George Foreman, a few weeks from turning 46 years old, stuns the sports world with a win over Michael Moorer in the heavyweight championship bout. Foreman hadn't boxed in over 17 months and was chosen to face Moorer mainly because of his name -- with Mike Tyson, Tommy Morrison, and Evander Holyfield unavailable due to losses and other extracurricular offenses, Foreman was the biggest profile available.

No one gave the 45 year-old a snowball's chance in hell to win. He hadn't claimed the heavyweight title since he lost to Muhammad Ali, and that was 20 years ago. Now he was facing a man who was younger, quicker, stronger, and the holder of an undefeated 35-0 record.

But the calm, confident Foreman had everybody fooled. Wearing the same orange trunks that he wore against Ali 20 years ago, Foreman was losing badly on all cards going into the tenth round. It was in that stanza that Foreman flipped a switch, throwing one mighty punch at the jaw of Moorer. The prohibitive favorite toppled to the ground, sprawling backwards onto the canvas. Moorer was given the ten count and to the amazement of everyone in the building, Foreman was the champion.

Little known fact: it was this victory that inspired George to begin making his own line of grills. And now you know the rest of the story.

(I’m kidding, maybe)

It is amazing to me that, even with the bumps of this season, some people cannot be excited for the direction of our football program. We were a 3-7 football team with a mediocre defense and an offense that had to be put on life support to score at all. In just two short years, we have gone 7-5 with a screw job loss in the MCB and 10-2 with a gritty pull away win against Clemson in the NY6 Orange bowl last year. We have a great shot at being 10-2 or 9-3 this year which most people would have given @drvenner's left testicle for 5 years ago and now all the whining and bellyaching about going to "pointless" bowl games from a bunch of people on here just grates my nerves. Just enjoy watching this team and let Heupel and staff grow too. He is still a young coach with a lot of football to learn in front of him too.

I think we will see the zone play like UK. Keep everything in front and keep eyes on Cook who can move the chains with his legs if you don’t have eyes on him. Plus we don’t have Hadden.
Not having Hadden is the key to why not as much man press. However, I did like what I saw live with Gibson as I focused on him yesterday. I will watch the film later but not had a chance yet.
