And he has only been a Viking for less than a week. Imagine what he could do if a team let him develop chemistry with the receivers and be around long enough to master the entire playbook.

It is amazing to me that, even with the bumps of this season, some people cannot be excited for the direction of our football program. We were a 3-7 football team with a mediocre defense and an offense that had to be put on life support to score at all. In just two short years, we have gone 7-5 with a screw job loss in the MCB and 10-2 with a gritty pull away win against Clemson in the NY6 Orange bowl last year. We have a great shot at being 10-2 or 9-3 this year which most people would have given @drvenner's left testicle for 5 years ago and now all the whining and bellyaching about going to "pointless" bowl games from a bunch of people on here just grates my nerves. Just enjoy watching this team and let Heupel and staff grow too. He is still a young coach with a lot of football to learn in front of him too.

The only way we sniffing the playoffs this year is for GA to lose the next two games and us win the next four (yes 4, because we would have to win the SEC championship too). Same team next year with the same record (let's day 9-3) should be in the playoffs. 10-2...definitely in the playoffs.

People need to just enjoy the fact that we have a fun team to watch again. They aren't perfect, but they sure are fun.
