Yeah but Lane is the type of pile of cow crap that has a handful of magic mushrooms growing out of it. Still a pile of cow crap but more entertaining and humorous than others. You also might see some crazy shite watching Lane's teams that totally blows your mind.

I hate what Lane did while at and when leaving UT but I feel like he has matured to a point where he is much more secure and comfortable in his own skin. It has made him a better coach and he seems like he has the attitude of "I've made a lot of boneheaded decisions (many he seems to regret), some people will love me and some people will hate me no matter what I do at this point, I get why some people hate me but screw it....I'm going to lean into my persona, have fun with it and not take the online attention too seriously. As long as I'm entertained and the attention/pressure is on me then my team should play loose."

A lot of fans forget that he did the same thing at UT to take pressure off the players. I have a hard time hating the guy. Mainly because I don't care enough to feel strongly about him and because our program was a disaster in late 2000's and 2010's. Some Vol fans give Lane too much credit for the impact he had on UT football. We were on a downward spiral with or without him.

B10 has the top 4 scoring defenses in the country, 6 of the top 20 defenses in yards allowed. SEC has 3 of the worst defenses in the country

The best time to visit the Gulf Shores, Destin, 30A, PCB corridor is from late September to late October, if you’re able. Incredible weather, minimal traffic and crowds, and the gulf is still warm.

As I’ve said many times here, #92 Reggie is my all time favorite VOL. I just wished some of our younger Vol fans could have watched him in real time like I had the privilege to watching him. He’s one of the reasons I started watching the NFL and Green Bay Packers.

My wife just got me the throwback Reggie White jersey for my birthday. She is a wonderful woman!

THe Spinks brothers....Ali...Norton...Foreman...Holmes....and even Cooney...boxing in 70's and 80's were great......do you remember the kickboxing I liked it also..it was a mainstay on ESPN back in the day...

K1 Kickboxing was fantastic. Dutch black guy named Ernesto Hoost was amazing at around 225. I'll never forget watching him chop down the giant oak tree known as Bob Sapp (Warren's much larger brother) with brutal leg kicks until Bob could barely hold up his 400 pounds and completely gave up on defense. Ernesto kept leg kicking while also throwing straight rights straight down the center of Bob's face.

Also remember one guy leg kicking another guy who blocked it with his shin. The guy kicking snapped his tibia and it was flopping everywhere. Great memories.

You really think that is an indication of the BIG having better defenses than the SEC or maybe is a result of having a bunch of garbage offenses? I'm going to say the latter. That conference has 2 teams that are legit followed by PSU who are comparable to the 6th -10th best SEC teams. Everyone else in that league is comparable to the SEC's worst 4 teams, with several being on Vandy's level. This is an example of stats lying.

Its in this thread. A few days ago, someone was arguing & saying "your gonna end up on mbg", then a couple hours later that comment he was talking about was on there. I can't remember who said it, or if they're the mole, but it seemed fishy at the time. Now another post ends up on there. . . & I don't think they're finding it through search results. A lot of people have mentioned mbg and those posts never got tweeted, even though they were just as dumb or worse.

It seems like someone tipped off mbg. It could be anyone though, it could be a lurker trolling us. . . could also be the person that was arguing about the first comment I mentioned who get mad and tipped off mbg.

As a default, i'm just gonna go ahead and blame it on @Glitch

70s heavyweight boxing was so awesome .

My dad hated Ali, thought he was a loudmouth so-and-so and whatever. I was a kid and didn't say anything to argue with him but I thought Ali was so cool.

I felt like my dad was missing the humor and fun of Ali's talk and antics. It was straight up entertainment from my perspective, and then he backed it up by being such a badass in the ring!

And even back then I could tell that Cosell knew exactly what he was doing with Ali, feeding him and letting him run.

And then later on with Sugar Ray in welterweight with the Benitez fight and the Duran fights and so on, man, such good stuff, loved Sugar Ray. What a great era.

I’m hoping that since mizzou also has 2 losses that it will be a level playing field. It would make sense.

I know, I know that I am a blind optimist.
First defensive play of the game have each ref as a designated target by a particular defensive player. “Accidentally run over them with their heads turned away so that they don’t see them.” Then the exact same thing on the first offensive play.

Then have CJH tell the closest official that they need to pay special attention to the game so that they don’t get run over again.

If they don’t get the hint, then have it rinse and repeat until it dawns on the referees…

I dont really mind the calls on us. I figure pretty much every team should get somewhere between 5-10 penalties a game. It's absurd to think any team can play a complete game with 0 live ball penalties. . . then another team with zero penalties the following week. . . then a 3rd team with just a couple penalties on the next week.

If Mizzou doesn't get at least 4+ live ball penalties, it'll be hard to deny that its rigged that way.

No team ever plays a perfect game and wins. . . if they play a perfect game, then they aren't playing hard enough, imo. . . if that makes sense.

We will know exactly how the whistle will go just based on who is the head ref. It is very obvious who they want calling our games, when the whistle is biased to the opponent.

I want to see how he responds if they get screwed by the officials. He will not hesitate to call them out. Maybe would be good for us the following week to get a fair whistle, if he does. I’m hoping against Georgia that the SEC knows they better call it fair, because our fanbase will make what happened against Ole Miss look like child’s play.
