Matt Campbell screwed himself over....he was loyal to Iowa State and is going to end up being a garbage pile coach when those ungrateful dumbasses fire him for not being able to keep working miracles at Big 12 Vandy.

What might end up saving him is that referenced loyalty. Always felt that he knew what his ceiling was as a coach and it was more realistic to realize his goals in Aames. Couldn’t predict that an abnormal number of his players would have a gambling addiction.

Campbell rode the coat tails of a decent defense...and Brock Purdy and Breece Hall led offense ....that's why everyone wanted him as a HC...

And this is a big concern. Not Banks, but our lack of dudes post-Hadden.

Guarding their big 3 would have been a handful with him and our pass rush still humming. Now teams just seem to be going quick pass and we're happy to keep them in front. Hopefully we can do it for 4 quarters without our #1 DUDE.

I foresee a lot of frustrating plays. Need to hold to FGs and have explosive plays on O. We haven't been trustworthy in the RZ, so might as well shoot for TDs when 30+ yards out. We're not winning if we go 50% TDs from the RZ. Need tuddies.

True. OL penalties have been killing us, especially in road games, these first 2.5 seasons.

Idk if "accountable" is the right view, but gotta be better. Imo slow it down just 1/2 a beat on the road in big spots. We can't beat ourselves on the road forever.

What power does the B1G really have and in what jurisdiction (football wise)? Outside of barring UM from the B1G championship game...

If the CFP voters want to vote them in - what's stopping them? Would the bowls themselves get involved?

The power of all these entities, or lack thereof, is pretty confusing. Such a shizzy organizational setup compared to pro leagues...
