If Bama wins out, I hope his "Nightmare scenario" comes true.
I’ll have to look at the data schema and see if I have anything for rankings or see if there is another data schema that has it I can combine it with. I know I also have access to some team composite rankings and SP+ data so maybe can take that to use. It makes sense. The only other team running into UGA and Bama yearly is Auburn, I believe.Could you make this opponent-adjusted? Would be interested.
*not that our road opponents so far have exactly been offensive juggernauts, just curious*
I still can't say it was 'rigged' but there certainly is an issue with officiating. I'm still stuck on the fact that Bama had only 1 penalty for 5 yards in that game. Officiating is terrible and we desperately need a grading system and a lot more transparency. Beyond that, Bama has not looked good this year and just doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs.Bama doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs. Their biggest "win" was massively rigged for them on TSIO by Birmingham officials and those officials' supervisors. The video evidence is conclusive.
I really hope some non-SEC team who can't be threatened into silence by Birmingham says it publicly and shows the evidence.
Jack, I don’t know what we would do without you!1- Be Positive
2- Dont talk politics, unless its some insane conspiracy.
3- Dont be a moran.
4- Pocket presents are NOT a gift
5- Dont be puttin' no freshman on no peddlestools, even if you're a valid victorian
6- the 25 and 26 classes are more important than the 24 class
7- TWSS

Well, as I have stated, there was no effective difference between the way Birmingham called that game and what a rigged game would look like. I don't have an opinion on the "backstory." The facts simply don't lend themselves to any exculpatory interpretation. None.I still can't say it was 'rigged' but there certainly is an issue with officiating.
