I don't think there's anything wrong with calling another coach and saying "hey we figured out during the game that this sign means that." Not exactly sportsmanlike, but I don't think there's a rule against it.

As opposed to Michigan institutionalozing attending opponents games in person to scout signals.

I still can't say it was 'rigged' but there certainly is an issue with officiating. I'm still stuck on the fact that Bama had only 1 penalty for 5 yards in that game. Officiating is terrible and we desperately need a grading system and a lot more transparency. Beyond that, Bama has not looked good this year and just doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs.

And that one penalty saved them from a fumble lol. That call was by far the worst one made that day, and it gets the least attention. No reason for them to kill that play.

To the writer's point - how is this not advanced scouting? It's merely outsourced advance scouting.

It's actually even more useful because it's been tested in-game and from a roster of top coaches.

Versus a low-level guy with film trying to decipher it.

Very excited my cousin just signed to play softball for Tennesse. One of the top OF players in the country. Hopefully in a few years my daughter will sign to play GK for women's soccer. Been her dream since she was 6.

The game thread is amazing(ly awful). Half of all coaches are fired before the first drive is over. Then we go on to win 59-3

I made the mistake of going to the game thread in the second half after the two pick 6s because I wanted to celebrate with some Vol fans! Thought surely there would be some! No, first two posts I read were about firing the Defensive Coordinator!

Well, as I have stated, there was no effective difference between the way Birmingham called that game and what a rigged game would look like. I don't have an opinion on the "backstory." The facts simply don't lend themselves to any exculpatory interpretation. None.

Don't forget to add that lone "penalty" called on Bama had the effect of bailing them out of a bad snap. In effect, it penalized us.

Really no joking maybe call the Finebaum show and tell Paul, Jim. Legend and drunk ass Larry ..how much Saban and Sankey rig games....just a thought...

Dang...rewatching Nico's plays and his fake run pass for the TD was both beautiful and FAST.

Also looked quick out of the pocket on his run.

Don't think Heupel has had twitch like this in his QB yet, on top everything else.

Also very impressed overall by our backup defense and offense. Lots of solid runs and throws. Love the depth!
