No real upside to this, he isn't going to win you a game Milton won't. Hell get his shot next year
Nico is more sound as a QB than Milton is x1billion

The biggest thing with this coaching staff is I think they want Nico to do everything right and they didn’t want to rush him and create bad habits.

Last game showed how he has been coached. Heck just the tuck pass td showed he is already a better QB than Joe Milton will ever be….

Whens the last time you’ve seen a defense commit to Joe the way they did to Nico on that play. Answer you haven’t because Joe does all his stuff half arsed.

I was ahead of everyone on being out on Butch, and im ahead of everyone on Heup.... give it a couple of years.
Trending that way. Will see what the offseason brings. It has to change this offseason. If he sits pat you are probably right. Staff stability is the wrong answer.

The SEC is brutal. Evolve quickly or die.

Let’s be honest. Outside of our guys just being athletes, have we once this year been impressed with scheme or play calling? Huge drop off from last year. Defense is the main issue once again causing bad losses. This is starting to look like a typical tennesse new hire trajectory. Next year is now going to show how we respond.
Because theyre handcuffed like kiffin with crompton

Waiting on the holding complaint to come on that TD…
Shut up. We lose with the way we played but want just a dang fair game called and if we get beat then we get beat. But we want to see real football with the officiating BS. My son whose been going to games with me and loves college football is about done with it. Not because we lost because he’s seen plenty of that. But because the integrity of the game is now questioned and we have better things to do than watch that BS and spend five figures a year to do it with a university that won’t allow the coach to take up for our players.

I said the other day, staff continuity was needed but thats wrong.
Banks and Martinez need out.
Also, Halzle needs to go. I wonder what Jeff Lebby would cost, or if Heupel and Kendall Briles would work well together.

I wouldn't say he was ripping at it. Could have easily been a no call.....still not why we lost!

Gotta say it again for the people in the back. We scored 7 points!
He was running right, while pulling his face mask, which is why I said ripping it.

Yea it's Joe fault we can't stop the run and gave up over 250 yards rushing or we can't spy the QB on 3rd and long. Gotcha.

Joe wasn't great but he wasn't fully to blame for the offense scoring 7 points. Our playcalling was bad and hasn't been good all season.

How big was Alex Golesh?..... or ya think it has something to do with being limited at QB?

Ok dude. I’m not Milton fan, but to act disregard the defensive performance of not getting off the damn field is ignorance on your part. Try again
28 points in todays world is winning football. Especially when your offense doesn’t move the ball.

I would say that’s all the more reason to start Nico against Vandy. Barring a total disaster, you’re going to win that game regardless of who you start. Would be a good opportunity to let him get some experience and give us something to build on going into 2024.

As much as I want to agree with you, Joe Milton didn’t give up 300 yards to a DIVISION TWO RUNNING BACK LOL

Let's be fair here. Can't hold it against the guy where he came from. He is not a D2 running back now. Led the SEC before today. Gotta respect the dude's work ethic.

Still doesn't excuse knowing that and letting him run all over you!

Yuck!

Am traveling internationally and just woke up and saw the score.

Not at all what I expected.

Oh well - was/is a rebuilding year and we still have a shot at Georgia next week.

Three things that bother me:

1) “Winning on the road” is officially a narrative for Heupel that has legs and we will have to listen to it all offseason.

2) I still have no respect for Missouri football.

3) Mizzou is off next year’s schedule, so no revenge game.

Oh well - life goes on.

8-4 or 9-3 is a solid regular season.

On to the next one.

Dude, you said you were done with this Vol **** 2 years ago. Yet, here you are still around the board.

We have been***** by calls this year, but not today. We got OWNED today. We looked like little bitches on the field. It had nothing to do with the refs. Previous games, you have an argument. Not today. So try again 😘
