You think the NCAA capped the classes to help Bama make it to ATL?
The NCAA did tack on scholarship cuts beyond what we had already amply done. We now are not finished with penalties until 2028. That was completely overboard. I would imagine our rivals and others behind the scenes were egging them on. And there seemed to be some general resentment that Heupel brought us back so fast, as if that proved to them (or their feeling, at least) that we "hadn't been punished enough."

If we play that soft zone again today I might throw my remote at my TV. We’re huge underdogs and Georgia has been steamrolling everyone. You have nothing to lose in this game. Just play man and blitz more often and see what happens. Like you said, I would rather them score quickly so we can get the ball back and try and respond than chew up 8 minutes of clock and score anyway.
Georgia hasn't actually been steamrolling everyone this season. They whipped Kentucky and Ole Miss at home. They easily beat Florida at a neutral site. They struggled against South Carolina at home. Their only away games so far have been a 7 point win over Auburn and a 17 point win over Vanderbilt...both being much more of a struggle than they should have been considering the competition. That Auburn game is the only one they have played in a hostile environment.

Going off last week's game for both teams, you can say that these are two teams headed in opposite directions, and that could be the case. However, their performance has dropped in their two away games and our bipolar team has played much better at home.

I don't have high hopes, but I wouldn't be shocked to see us pull it off. I do agree with your overall feelings about the defensive strategy. Time to throw caution to the wind a bit and be aggressive.

UGA's average is across 28 recruits. Ours and Bama's is across 20.

We still have quite a way to go to close that gap.
Self-refuting.

That means UGA won't make the jump I presumed. Good for us. And we're a mere 1 point Bama right now. After spending the last decade 4-5 points behind lmao.

Maybe no teams will ever match them in their current state. We just need to be closer AND WE'VE DONE IT and continue to do so. Those guys will be starting in the next 1...2...3 seasons. Patience.

Not even 1 point… last I checked yesterday it was 92.24 for them and 91.70 for UT… pretty minimal difference. Although 6 of the top 7 averages are all SEC only exception being the Buckeyes who were 0.01 behind Georgia

Miami crowds are embarrassing. Seen bigger crowds at high school games
Here's Allen High School near me in Allen, TX for example:

That could change as soon as the season is over. I wouldn't be surprised if he hit the portal.
FM's brother transferred into Miami. He's used his free transfer. And I think the brother has at least another year of eligibility. Family wants them together. So I highly doubt FM transfers.
