Those were quantity rankings. Average recruit ranking was like .89 in those two classes. Heup is pulling .91 average this class

My take aged terribly lol. That showing by Colorado last night was one of the most pathetic I have ever seen. I take back what I said...Deion is not experienced enough for a Texas A&M job. He's not even experienced enough for Colorado (not saying it's a bad hire by a 1-11 team though). In hindsight, the antics the team did early on were not smart, there's a reason Saban has always said not to give teams bulletin board material. I thought his press conference where he said he would replace all of the o linemen was extremely stupid too, that doesn't motivate any players to play hard for you whether they are terrible or not.

No one asked you to. Some defend it as just bad officiating. Some ridicule people for pointing the obvious bias out. Some defend it. If more would acknowledge it it becomes harder for them to hide it.

The media never covered Saban buying players but they all knew he did it. It was obvious when Saban was complaining about NIL and he made the claim that they didn't pay players. The whole room erupted in laughter.

But fans simply acknowledging biased officiating is prevalent in the sport changes nothing. As long as the dollars are flowing in, nothing changes. It would take millions of people checking out of the sport for the bottom line to suffer and that’s just not going to happen.

The people with the power and voice to change things are head coaches, AD’s, and university leadership. If a sizable coalition of coaches and AD’s in the conference came out and made a joint public statement with video evidence that publicly embarrassed the SEC, then things might change. Nobody is prepared to make such a stand right now, though.

Honestly, Banks and co. are going to have to be willing to risk bringing 6 or more guys. Can’t do it every play, of course, but rushing 3 and 4 all game puts way too much pressure on the DL to get home. Better to get burned for a big play touchdown than let Georgia go on a 7-8 minute drive that takes all the air out of the stadium.

No Campbell and no Mincey makes me feel worse about this game than I already did. No Wesley Walker is a big loss as well although this is a huge opportunity for Turrentine to establish momentum for himself going into 2024.

If we play that soft zone again today I might throw my remote at my TV. We’re huge underdogs and Georgia has been steamrolling everyone. You have nothing to lose in this game. Just play man and blitz more often and see what happens. Like you said, I would rather them score quickly so we can get the ball back and try and respond than chew up 8 minutes of clock and score anyway.
