Michael Jackson's 14-minute "Thriller" video debuts on MTV.

Directed by John Landis (National Lampoon’s Animal House, The Blues Brothers, An American Werewolf in London), the short film cost about $500,000 to make.
The longform version of the video was a hit and sold nearly 10 million copies on VHS. It also sent the album to #1 for 17 weeks straight, making it the best-selling album of both 1983 and 1984.

I'm not, nor ever have been, a Michael Jackson fan.............but I remember exactly where I was when this video debuted on MTV.

Georgia getting knocked out of the playoffs would be awesome. I don’t see anyone beating them other than Bama today. Bama hasn’t looked phenomenal though so they might get railroaded. Bama could get beat by a few playoff contenders

I recently returned a sweater to Kohl's for a refund. The lady at the service desk was very nice and asked why I was returning it. When I went to hand it to her, that static-ridden beast shocked both us. Needless to say, they gave me another sweater free of charge

Dear 7lb 8oz baby Jesus in the manger, please let Georgia lose today and miss the playoffs. In Christ alone! Amen!

There seems to be a real stand still in recruiting or transfers. Keeping our class and signing them would be great but we still have room and need immediate help. Surely things pick up soon at least on the transfer portion.
The perceived standstill is as you perceived. Because there are only a couple of high school players we are after right now, only the graduate student and "recently-fired coaches" portal is open, and we are in the process of taking care of our current players with NIL so they don't leave.

We did exit interviews last week with the players and I'm certain we are using this time until the actual portal opens to negotiate with current players.

Even as a five year old, I thought this video debut was two months too late. I remember asking my Mom, what does this have to do with Christmas?

Maybe I'm just old school but I cannot root for Bama in anything. The only time I would cosnider is if their win helped us make the playoff or win the east. But who are we kidding, they would intentionally lose that game to prevent it for us.

F%^ them and any chance they have at anything, in any sport, ever!

Sorry if I offend those I have ignored.
