Anyone taking the under 35.5 in the Iowa v Michigan game? Honestly, I don’t think Iowa will score a TD against Michigan. That offense is that bad and Michigan defense is stout. On the other side I don’t know if Michigan is scoring more than 28+ against this really good Iowa defense. I think the under hits.
I've thought about it. Iowa unders just feel so ridiculous lol

Iowa will stumble into a score ,when it doesn't matter...

coach Matthews on the radio drooling over Kirby and Saban’s “relentless recruiting” abilities and development. Saying that’s why they’re playing for championships most every year. Let’s go UT join the club and knock ‘em off
The talent gap is still the only thing separating us.

This stat says it all:

UGA 5 stars: 55 out of 85 roster spots
Tenn 5 stars: 1 out of 85 roster spots

Here’s my final 4 in order:

Georgia
Michigan
Washington
Texas

By this you should know how I think the games will go today.
I want these 4 teams too....if FSU loses and Washington winning it all

*If I knew alabama beating georgia, would keep both teams out of the playoffs, then I would go for that. I think the SEC will get 1 team in, either way. Keeping alabama out of the playoffs again, is what I want to see most. Saban tears are sweeter than Yoohoo

I don’t think Tennessee will ever close that gap

I think Tennessee will win by pairing elite QB play with good to great personnel everywhere else - hopefully the Nico era will prove my theory

Washington can play with any team..
They are fast and physical on defense...
Plus their offense is fantastic...
Yes but they can also manage to beat Wash St by only 3, 3-win Arizona by only 8, and 3-win Stanford by only 9. And are only +14 ppg for the season.

I really do hope they win it all, but they give me serious TCU/Mich St '15/ND '12 vibes of skating by on a lot of close wins...that is usually telling. But I'm 100% Husky fan from here out and hope they prove me wrong.

Lolwut?

55 five stars is nowhere close to correct 😅🤣😂 that would be an insane all-american team times three

Fwiw:
UGA 13 5*s
UT 2 5*s

Close the gap or match them?

Match them...maybe not...

But we're already closing the gap significantly from having average recruits ~5-6 points below UGA to now only about 1.5 - 2 points. That's a huge closure, but still a couple years from those dudes being the dudes on the field.

We need patience to let our incoming talent develop and show out.

I just worry that Michigan will find themselves in great positions for points because of Iowas terrible offense. For as good as Michigan as a team has been, the offense is good but it isn’t great. Running game is strong, passing game is average at best. They score by putting together drives by running the ball. If Iowa can just do enough to not give them short fields I think it’ll end in the 25-30 points scored range. 35.5 is so low though 😅 but, **** it, im going to take it.

@butchna ...just a thought, in a few years could you see Jason Witten as HC of the Cowboys?

Wouldn't it be devine.....
I think he coaches his boys (own) until the last one graduates…and he was a freshman this season. Then he’d look at other options. Doubt it would skip college for the pros.

I want so badly to watch the SEC get left out. Alabama and UGA tears would be the main course and then Sankey watching his two cash cows not make it would be the cherry on top.

We need Alabama to barely win and then have Texas win convincingly and for FSU to win its game.

This would be a dream scenario.

I took the Iowa TT under- scared of them falling behind and then having to try to throw and come back leading to short fields for Michigan. I can just envision a 31-7 final

The recruiting classes have improved each year under Heup, currently tied for 10th in the nation on Rivals with only 20 commits. Am I missing something? 3.85 star average per recruit, which is the 3rd highest in quality per commit in the nation per Rivals. That's elite recruiting. Is it Georgia or Bama level recruiting? No, but we are inching closer. Yes, we do need to sneak in a top 5 class. It will happen I feel, sooner rather then later.

AP has said the last 2 years he thought our recruiting would be better.
