I know some were graduating, but we had 18 (!) scholarship DB’s on the roster this year…..and still played the same slow SS 98% of the snaps on defense this year

Games like these are easy money..
Liberty first big Bowl game will be fired up...
Oregon disappointed and heart probably not in it..

This has USC vs Tulane last year written all over it...

O line is definitely a concern.

And we definitely do appear to be doing a much better job on recruiting last cycle and this cycle.

And yes we need as many guys back as possible plus a portal guy so we can continue to develop young guys without throwing them in the fire too early.

One question in all of this is, how many cycles has this staff had? The '21 cycle wasn't really his. So, does the bold mean that he's done well both of his cycles here?

How are we rolling into year 4? This staff came on board in Jan 2021, at which time they basically had to work to hold together a CJP class. Liberty struggled in a couple games mid season. Jackson state or MTSU or someone like that gave them a tough time early, before they took control at the end.

15.5 seems about right. I worry about Oregon getting a late score in games like this. Hopefully youre right. Also hope Oregon doesn't just out-talent them. Should be a good game.
