I see that.............but, In my opinion, as big a "crap shoot" as the portal is for "big" schools, the crap-shoot is even bigger for the kids that fall to the FCS level from the portal.
I just hate losing all-conference players because of the lack of $$. The life of a little guy.
Portal is just for making the rich , richer and the poor, poorer....

How are we rolling into year 4? This staff came on board in Jan 2021, at which time they basically had to work to hold together a CJP class. It's completely disingenuous to use that class against this staff. That puts us with two classes on campus, and you're concern-trolling that those classes aren't all-SEC starters by now?
Not to mention the 2022 class had the NCAA hanging over it.

@butchna ..Bear should take MH2 with #1 pick...
Who's going to throw him the ball? And I get the idea of letting Fields try and turn it around the last 5 games. I hope he does and we win them all. Might still make the playoffs in that scenario in a weak NFC. The data however points to us going 5-12 or 6-11 with him. I'm not down with that anymore. We're already wasting DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, and Darnell Mooney. I feel MHS would just waste more talent until we change the QB. I want a QB and OL.

This is why I personally think NCAA has too many Bowl games...

Horrible matchups in some and Minnesota at 5-7 in a game ...good grief

Go to a 32 team playoff and use the Bowl site nobody gets a home game..
We need a bigger playoff. As seen by this year. It will make college football better. If you had around 24 then you let every top team play and you truly find out who the best team is. Then you have mandated 10 power five games a year and have great football every weekend. And an 8-4 team is still good and is in the playoff.

I would love to play Michigan, USC, Wisconsin, etc. But why schedule those now where every loss is detrimental. It also keeps the Kentucky’s, Mizzou, etc. from their purposeful soft scheduling.

I know not many NBA fans on here, but anyone see where LeBron and the Rockets coach got into a argument...
Because he told LeBron to quit his bitching about calls ...😏😏😏

Na. They got into it cause LeBron told him to quit using "bitch" so loosely with women & kids around & coach tried to act hard. Theys video everywhere of the convo clear as day... but im sure you're an MJ fan and wanna point blame to lebron by not giving full detail of the ordeal 😂

I've brought that up before, and was going to mention again, but figured it'd allow for an "excuse-stacking" retort. It's true, mind you. But the simple fact is that the actual history we're dealing with is being misrepresented.

This staff basically has two of their own classes under their belt, after taking over (what?) a 67 player roster, while under major NCAA investigations for pay-4-play, and with self-imposed recruiting limitations. Anyone complaining about team depth right now, and trying to put it on this staff, is either:

(A) Impressively low-IQ.
(B) A troll.
(C) Both of the above.

That’s ridiculous 32 team playoff 🤣🤣🤣.
12 teams is enough.
What they should do is move the bowl games to April 1st.

Pre season games. So many opt outs that don’t play now and too early to get the new early enrollees or transfers in .

Who cares about depleted roster bowl games?

24? How do you handle that many games? How many do the lower levels take in their playoffs?

My Christmas wish:
I want the Vols to find some LBs and DBs that can tackle.
This is what separates us from Bama, Georgia and even Missouri this year. I just want the back end of our defense to stop the yards after contact.
Change needs to be made in personnel or coaching.
