If Baron is trying to recreate what he did last last year then good luck to the man. I had a mentor tell me once, "You typically get one opportunity to leverage a pay raise or promotion by threatening to leave, so use it wisely, because the 2nd time you use it, most will show you the door".

I would move on the the League if I were him. Your stock value may not increase.

I think the Echols recruiting win last year was big for building momentum for last class and this class. Back when he was a five-star. I'm not really worried about him going to USF, but I know this place is in the middle of Meltdownpalooza so I'm not going to get in the way of everyone acting like Nico entered the portal, or Mike Matthews flipped to Florida.
