Let whoever wants to leave leave. As others have mentioned college ball is at a point where multiple players have been in college over half a decade which honestly is bad for the sport. The Covid year has allowed there to be too many college athletes and in turn it’s hurt a lot of incoming classes like the 21&22 classes specifically. College sports do not need excessive amounts of 6-7 year players. It sucks. It’s time we see some younger players get their run.

Don’t think Baron will come back here. As a player you can probably get by with throwing your name in once but not twice.

We have a ton of dudes on the DL. I just wish we’d take some of our NIL funds and get some stud secondary players, WR, or OL.

But doesn’t look like we are looking for much at all besides like 5 TEs

If Baron is trying to recreate what he did last last year then good luck to the man. I had a mentor tell me once, "You typically get one opportunity to leverage a pay raise or promotion by threatening to leave, so use it wisely, because the 2nd time you use it, most will show you the door".
Yep. On top of that the older you get the less the NFL will even consider you. They’ll drop a 24 year old for a 20 year old of equal talent like a bad habit. Covid year has been mostly terrible for college athletes outside of the seniors whose seasons got cancelled and allowed them play another year in 20. Can’t wait until the Covid year phases out.

Many of the kids who will transfer to bigger schools this cycle would have been pursued by those schools originally if not for the covid holdovers.

2024 and 2025 will be the two most important seasons for Tennessee this decade, and might define the next 15 years like 2007 and 2008 did previously.

Nico has to be the man. No other way around it. He doesn't have to be as amazing as Hendon was, at least not next year, but we have to get to the playoff in 2024 or 2025.

We have to have proof of concept that what we built was real, repeatable, and that we are a competitor moving forward in this new expanded SEC.

With the Big Ten and the SEC expanding, and becoming the Power 2, every program is going to be fighting to establish their identity in the new CFB era. We have the opportunity to establish that we are back to being a 10+ win program year over year that expects to be in the playoff.

Then we will be more than a competitor to drive up offers for the best recruits and portalers. I hope that we can capitalize on this portal class (or flip a cruit or 2) to solidify the potential of this roster.

Yep. I know lots of hs kids who basically weren’t recruited by a lot of schools due to them having so many return and many settled for lower level schools. Just bad all around.

We gonna have like 6 DBs left? Slaughter, Turnage, Burrell, Mccollough, Hadden, Luttrell, Dee, Walker all going to be gone. With Rucker rumored plus Jeudy Lally and MacDonald also in limbo. Roster has me a bit worried in a few places. Heup better have some good development happening behind scenes.

Varies...
When Ty Chandler is mentioned in NFL...
The announcers state he is a Alum of UNC...
Yeah, because that's what they see on their sheet.

I think it probably boils more down to the athlete themselves. We might have a few dudes who take no pride in their time with the Power T despite wearing it 3-4 years. Others with 1 year and it's part of their identity.
