You know, I love you prof. But I wish you didn’t use that word. I got several in school suspensions and one out of school suspension defending a mentally handicap kid in high school. He went to my church was in my youth group, and I always looked after him. I literally almost got kicked out of school, defending him from bullies. I fu*%ing hate that word. Yes I’m triggered. Still love you though. The Vikings are legit retarded. In range, going backwards. They can't get out of their own way.

I commented to my wife lately that I think she might be drinking a little too much wine. She told me to mind my own business. To discourage her just a little, I decided to add a little fruit and lemonade when she wasn't looking. Turns out that was not the best idea because now she's sangria than ever.
Got a bad feeling , almost everyone today picking Cowboys...@knoxvol52 , in the immortal words of Bruce Buffer, " Let's get ready to rumble"
I’ve killed 3 in Tennessee with dogs and it’s far from easy. I get where you are coming from but until you chase one in a laurel bottom where you can’t see 2 feet away you can’t grasp it. It’s a different type of hunting. I’ve also killed a couple browns and Canadian bear and that is easy compared to Tennessee bear hunting.Really just need em to 'run him.'
I would think that running them, esp with a rifle or twelves gauge would be relatively easy with dogs. Issue I would see is identifying the proper age, sow versus boar, and all the insane rules in TN for killing bear!- which really are overpopulated.

Animals are not capable of sadism. You're projecting a human psychology and thought processes on to animals. Sadism requires empathy, it requires knowing what another being is feeling. A bear doesn't know the animal it's killing is suffering, and it doesn't have a preference for that suffering to continue or not. It's not intellectually evolved enough for the thought processes required for sadism. In that case, there's a natural instinctual reason for humans to torture their kills. You're confusing anthropromorphizing with a value judgment regarding observable behavior. Animals whether bear or human or fellow primates that keep their prey alive while they consume and/or leave their prey to suffer are sadistic with regards to the manner in which they kill. That's a judgment based upon observable behavior. Other animals kill before consumption.
I'm not attributing human behavior to them. I'm judging the way they kill.
