Animals are not capable of sadism. You're projecting a human psychology and thought processes on to animals. Sadism requires empathy, it requires knowing what another being is feeling. A bear doesn't know the animal it's killing is suffering, and it doesn't have a preference for that suffering to continue or not. It's not intellectually evolved enough for the thought processes required for sadism.
Bears aren't primarily predators, so they're not practiced at killing like big cats. Once a prey is edible and not fighting back or running away, they start eating. It's indifference, not sadism.
I honestly can't believe someone thinks an animal is capable of the advanced empathetic thought processes required for sadism.
It's not easy.Really just need em to 'run him.'
I would think that running them, esp with a rifle or twelves gauge would be relatively easy with dogs. Issue I would see is identifying the proper age, sow versus boar, and all the insane rules in TN for killing bear!- which really are overpopulated.

Well, historically, humans are the primary predator of bear @JackcrevolDifferent species of bears will kill for territory and males will kill cubs. Overall however bears don't have predators. Just things that can kill them
We are recruiting in line with our instate talent and current on-field performance. Which is to say excellent, maybe a hair short of elite. The only thing Heup has to do is repeat what he did last year, and the recruiting will continue to trend toward elite. What we should not do is ditch a 9-win coach to get lost in the desert again. Someone in FF compared him to Mullen. Let's say that dude was 100% right. Are you ready for Sun Belt Billy instead? Or maybe you prefer Jimbo worse record Fisher. This fan base mystifies me sometimes.I like Heupel but the fact is if UT can’t consistently get past the 9-4 type of program in year 5 and beyond he’ll get the boot too. Just how it is at a place like UT. You got all you need. Go attack and use it. Hopefully he can break through and get an SEC Championship etc. We’ll see. Recruiting middle of the sec won’t get you there but signing day isn’t here yet

I'm not familiar with this perspective. Grizzilies usually only kill humans in aggressive, territorial outbursts. They're not known for intentially torturing prey or playing with them. Cats do this. Otters arguably. But this is not something bears are known for. Bears are also primarily scavengers and foragers. Polar bears are the only bears that are true carnivores.Bears like Grizzlies are malicious killers. They torture. I was horrified when I found out what they do to the people they kill. They are as sadistic as any primate and honestly thought only primates/humans were sadistic in their kills. Thank god the bears we have around here are docile.
If VN were in charge, we would be the Jets.We are recruiting in line with our instate talent and current on-field performance. Which is to say excellent, maybe a hair short of elite. my original comment was based on the twra restrictions vs overpopulationWell, historically, humans are the primary predator of bear @Jackcrevol
