They had summit for so long that it’s not really comparable. Women’s sports didn’t really exist in the 20’s, and summit is the bulk of WBB history here. Weekly’s for softball, too. I agree it’s ridiculous, but I see how it’s festered in a way that the men’s side hasn’t.We managed to get over the antiquated "One Of Us" ideology a long time ago on the men's side. Like around... 1926... when we hired Robert Neyland. Or what about in 1964 when we hired Dickey? Bill Battle?
Why can't the adults on the women's side move on and move forward?
If it’s minimal and they are splitting hairs, the ref will usually give the HC a warning about it for future plays instead of calling offsides the first time. If it’s egregious, the ref has to call it though. Toney’s was egregious. Definitely past the ball and an idiotic mistake. Toney never even looked at the sideline where a ref will usually tell you if you are okay or not. If he just simply looked left, the Chiefs probably win. Big mistake.I was told Mahomes and coach were mad because they said the ref didn't alert him that he was lined up off sides. Wasnt aware there was an obligation unless they checked with the line judge
I think Banks and Martinez would play Slaughter and McDonald until they were eligible for Social Security, if that were within the rules. So no, I don’t think they were pushed out.I think the people saying we’ve forced 6 DB’s to hit the portal are coping at this point. I doubt we would tell that many to take a hike with seemingly no DB’s on the board to replace them.
