Thats true. But the Big 10 also adds those PAC12 teams. They arent Ohio State / Michigan level (USC/Washington/Oregon could be some years). But a few more landmines on the schedule moving forward for sure.

USC playing a Big 10 schedule is hilarious to me tho. I cannot wait.

It should be throughout the entire NCAA. They need to have an officiating college/association that all refs come from. They need to be held accountable and answer post-game questions about their calls. That'll never happen, but it should.

This was pointed out on The Bennington Show a few weeks ago.

Players and coaches, playcallers, assistants waving sign boards, get-back coaches, all make dozens of mistakes a game.

Understood by everyone watching sports.

Refs make mistakes and people are suddenly aghast.

I'll never get how those folks misunderstood a beautiful game so poorly. Was one thing from 1900 through the 70s and again post-Malice at the Palace. But the punks tried to muck it up for some years, luckily unsuccessful long-term and now Draymond and ilk are the emptying remnants

Call me crazy, but I don't think they should give anyone spots. If you're a P5 team and win the conference championship BUT have 4 losses I'm not sure you should be in the playoffs. One game shouldn't overshadow the rest of the season.

Same for G5, being the best team from the G5 should only give you a spot if you're on equal or better footing as other teams that played harder P5 schedules. I don't want to see a 4 losses G5 team just given a spot because they're the highest ranked G5 school. You play an easier road, results should reflect that if you're actually a good enough team.

But usually the P5 conference winners are teams that should be in the CFPs. I'm curious to see how things change with the SEC if we're not going to have divisions anymore.
