"Because we never start freshmen" is that the actual argument he's making? When have we needed to? When have we had a Day 1 starting caliber freshman WR? Squirrel played significantly and he played behind the Biletnikoff winner then started in the Orange Bowl. How much more "instant impact" can you get from a freshman without starting?

Matthews is our first "Day 1 instant impact freshmen WR" we've gotten. He's going to play a ton.

I think we would be fine if we didn't bring in a portal guy, but having a guy like Brazzell is icing on the cake.

I thought we needed a super stud WR, but we really need someone that’s produced on the college level and Brazzell has done that exceptionally well. He will need to gain some weight though.

If we get Bru back then Brazzell is a nice add no matter how you slice it, especially with all the guys coming back and bringing in. Now if Bru does leave, then yes go get another impact WR.

Struggling last season does not mean the group will struggle next season under different circumstances and development/growth. You also have added Matthews.

Wondering how many games a team can lose in the SEC and still be eligible for playoffs. These schedules are not a cupcake walk.

When they go to a 9-team schedule, I fully expect 3-loss SEC teams to get at large bids.

If Florida went 9-3 somehow, I think they’d be in. But that’s the only team that could lose more than 2 next season and make it imo.

Florida will be lucky to win 5 games and that’s pushing it. I bet their over under from Vegas will be 4.5
