I don't think the Michigan qb is that good. Milroe isn't that good. Neither really have a future in the pros. Penix is probably the only one who might start for an NFL team for the 4 CFP teams, Ewers might be somewhere in the middle.

I'd argue this year is evidence for the opposite of what you're saying. The team around your QB is more important than the QB, Penix being the exception.

Look at LSU. Heisman winner at QB, Biletnikoff runner up at WR, still dropped 3 games.

Personally I'm ready to see the overhaul everyone's been asking for in the secondary.

2024 class has (as of now)
S - Boo Carter - 4 star, 92 rating and the 9th S in class
CB - Kaleb Beasley - 4 star, 92 rating and the 16th CB in class
S - Edrees Farooq - 3 star, 88 rating and the 70th S in class

2023 class had
CB - Jordan Matthews - 4 star, 92 rating and the 28th CB in class
CB - Rickey Gibson III - 3 star, 89 rating and the 50th CB in class
S - John Slaughter - 3 star, 88 rating and the 60th S in class
CB - Cristian Conyer - 3 star, 87 rating and the 85th CB in class


2022 class had
S - Jourdan Thomas - 3 star, 87 rating and the 66th S in class
CB - Christian Harrison - 3 star, 86 rating and the 94th CB in class


Maybe it's just optimism because I don't know how good or bad these guys are yet, but in the few snaps we've gotten to see them I've liked what Gibson and Thomas brought. Hopefully the youth movement is the upgrade the secondary needs.

My first job was working at my dad’s service station - I waited on the pumps which included greeting the customer, pumping gas, washing windshields, and checking oil. I added oil if needed and checked the air in the tires as well. I took their money (almost always cash), rang it up on the cash register (manual) and made change if necssary. On the weekends, my job was also to wash the box trucks that were affiliated with Tennessee Eastman.

2nd all time in YPC with a minimum of 40 carries (only behind Charlie Garner) with 6.2
20th in rushing TDs with 18

I think him and Sampson would have been exciting as the 1/2 but I totally understand why he's declaring now and wish him the best.
