Just saw your other post. Most of the time when you see snake in the bottle in Asia it’s a variation of the habu sake. Looks like they are branching out and trying new methods and types of alcohol. Don’t think I’ve seen a scorpion before. Surprisingly the sake was pretty good, I’d try this one too.

i thought we were doing better than usual as well until i went and looked at it. We have 10 4* or better committed to us. Pruitts 2010 class had the same…. i looked at one of Butch Jones really good class and he had 14-15 while even when the wheels were coming off he had 9.

It appears that our average star ranking being higher is in correlation to us currently taking less prospects and not so much in us getting a higher rated class… That being said…. with class retention…. transfers in…. recruiting… i have no clue who is doing a good job anymore.

I see recruiting now as a balance of 3 things.

1. Roster retention since guys can leave any year.
I think Heup gets an A+ here and believe even negative posters have thin reasons to go lower.
Butch and Pruitt would have had mass exoduses I have no doubt.

2. HS recruiting.
I think Heup gets a B- here. Good not great.

3. Portal recruiting.
I think this is a B to B-. Again, good not great.

Combined I think we score an A-.

Habu Saki. Habu snake gets stored in the sake and aged. The alcohol negates out the venom over time.

This is just a stupid way of viewing things. When half your existing team exits through the transfer portal, you damn well better be adding a bunch of players through the portal. The only way to correctly view this is by looking at net recruits (and recruiting points) added or lost through the portal.
