That comment about not distributing was incorrect. Turnbull has been distributed pretty widely for decades. If they knew you were from Tennessee, they likely meant it had no distribution in your state.
I'm in Arkansas, but probably still a valid point. It's now in every other decent liquor store I go to now and several restaurants, so at the very least they've really ramped up distribution.

on Baron, Mcdonald, and KJ. seemed like there was a core group of guys from pruitts class. i only know what i've seen following tennessee. obviously leaving your team for Kiffin, if its your choice, is all about you.

questionable decision. but we're better for it long term. it's either money or fit. again, could be wrong, but those dudes committed to pruitt and are now playing for lane.

that tells me everything i need to know

You have to keep in mind that wine distribution is a state by state process. They had to get a distributor licensed in the state of Arkansas. Turnbull is a classic, old school Napa cab. As such, it doesn’t knock down huge scores from the wine press, which highly praises new school, huge fruit-driven, high alcohol, oak bombs. As a result, these days, Turnbull would likely have to rely on small boutique distributors that appeciate old school wines and actually know how to hand-sell their wines to retailers and restaurants rather than simply rely on a Wine Spectator or Wine Advocate score.

I have some friends that started that type of boutique wine distributor here in Arizona many years ago. Years later, they ended up selling their company to John McCain’s wife, who owns the Budweiser distributorship in Arizona and was looking to add fine wine distribution to her company.

Ole Miss must have had a booster come out of the woodwork this year. Also seams like they are hedging everything on next season. That could mean the following few years could be rough because I don’t think they are built like a Bama or UGA to do that annually.

As they should be with Dart returning. Sometimes you have to choose a peak year and put all your chips in.

We should be all, all in for 2025. That's the "dump the bucket" year.

Doesn’t even phase me anymore. Genuinely don’t even care when he tries to do that stuff. He’s the one living in Mississippi.
