He’s more of a molder…he takes young, fast db’s, teaches them to slow down, give people their space, but always look at them and never turn around so as to protect them if a ball might come toward them. If it does, just give them a little shove so they don’t get hit by it. And, don’t mind that man in the zebra shirt throwing his yellow hankie at you saying you did a no-no. I like the class, when the dust settles after NSD as long as we're top 15 I'll be happy. The average player rating is higher than some teams ahead of us in team rankings (going off just average player ranking we're top 10).
If we land some more big names HS or portal and push into a top 10 class then I don't know how anyone could be upset.

Eventually Heupel's straight shooter closing will be what the kids appreciate, it's more in line with how they'll be treated in the NFL.

Does this douche canoe not understand that his state literally passed a law to benefit him in recruiting by allowing in state players to receive NIL compensation before they graduate HS? Is he surprised other schools are going to try to drop bags of NIL funds to his recruits in hopes to flip them? The lack of self-awareness is mind boggling.

EXACTLY what it means. Niedermeyer was a closer until recruits figured out he couldn’t diagram a play if a gun was to his head. Trooper can coach and closes recruits at a sleazy gelatinous level.
