He’s more of a molder…he takes young, fast db’s, teaches them to slow down, give people their space, but always look at them and never turn around so as to protect them if a ball might come toward them. If it does, just give them a little shove so they don’t get hit by it. And, don’t mind that man in the zebra shirt throwing his yellow hankie at you saying you did a no-no. He’s employed by the people in Birmingham who believe in a King named Saban.Isn’t that Willie Martinez’s main job is to be an aggressive recruiter and “close” recruitments? If not, what value does he bring to the table?
It's a slam dunk if we get McKinley.I like the class, when the dust settles after NSD as long as we're top 15 I'll be happy. The average player rating is higher than some teams ahead of us in team rankings (going off just average player ranking we're top 10).
If we land some more big names HS or portal and push into a top 10 class then I don't know how anyone could be upset.
Eventually Heupel's straight shooter closing will be what the kids appreciate, it's more in line with how they'll be treated in the NFL.
It's exactly what they just did with Sensabaugh.
