Yeesh, I hope we can regain that tempo we had in 2022, necks year. It is def on display tonite.

In ‘22, Vols went 20.2 seconds per play. This season, 21.0 seconds per play.

USF 20.7 seconds per play and Vols 21.0 seconds per play.

You must be watching these games with a stopwatch.

USF looking good. Cincinnati should have hire Goelsh. Pretty clear after how everything has played out for USF, Louisville, and Cincinnati

Halze wasn't the primary playcaller this season. Heupel called the plays.
all this bragging about golesh and he only beat two teams that won more than 4 games…. FAMU who plays at a much lower level of football and the big upset win against Rice. He also lost to two 4 win teams UAB and FAU. FAU spanked him 56-14.

Golesh deserves praise...he's a good coach and off to a good start taking over a tough situation. I think some fans way overvalue his effect on the offense in 2022. The offense wouldn't have been more effective with him as OC in 2023.

Halze's job is game plan, scheme, play design, etc. He was slacking in those areas compared to years past. Golesh played a major role and led all of those areas which was my point that we missed him.
we didn’t have a qb that could execute the plan so the efficiency was down.
