Just imagine the 80s/90s looking at the early days when your HC of your amateur players were also amateur coaches...they were teachers that also coached, just like HS. Hasn't been amateur in a very long time.

Then black pkayers were allowed to play. Changed the entire landscape forever.

Then came each school only being allowed to be on TV a limited # of times in the 70s...to the 80s where SCOTUS broke it wide open.

While I agree some of it sucks now and maybe will (in our eyes) into the future, much of it has been an inevitable dam building up over decades and the sport's own fault.

Change is the only constant.

That should've been the proposal long before NIL. Now that they get paid? My sympathies have shifted. They can put 30k in their own trust fund. In fact, I'd appreciate it if they'd pitch in and help ME with my student loans.

If I did not love the Tennessee Volunteers so much simply because I am a Tennessean...I would already be out on sports....I already don't watch Pro sports much anymore, and I am about a inch from not giving a about College sports.

I really do wonder when it will be over for me....money f'n ruins everything.

I’m just now listening to today’s Basilio show. TB said two sources have told him that Nico is starting the bowl game. Even TB doesn’t believe it. He thinks they’ll give Milton a few series at least.

Mentioned that some of the big NIL contributors have been upset about not seeing more of Nico this year.

That's the worst news possible. I can't believe Heupel would let boosters determine depth chart/playing time. Hopefully that just Tony being Tony with the negative on what could be seen as a positive.
Surely our AD would serve as a buffer keeping this from happening.

Boosters thinking they knew what was best gave us 15 years of football hell. They need to let the staff keep doing its thing without going down that road of getting too pushy about things boosters and fans have no business determining.

Well...they did have something to prove...now all they are going to prove is that the committee was right...UGA is going to absolutely annihilate them now and make them look like since half their team has quit.

I will never understand how you people think. FSU should gave went all out to win this game and then hung a NC banner...hell half of Bamas NCs are contested and everybody but us seems to acknowledge them.

More people would have watched that game than the first round of the playoffs just to see if they could beat GA. I would have actually watched it! Would have even done the war chant a few times.

Don’t need to rotate 3 RBs.

I'd settle for 120 yards between the 2 much less "dominate" against that defense.

If you’re trying to help the team in the long run then you’d play all young guys at all positions and no older players. Which, ya know, is dumb.

Joe should focus on All-star games or as @butchna says the Underwear Olympics...
