I don't agree.Heupel will coach to win the game and that more than likely means Milton will play. This board doesn’t like to hear it but he is the better of the two qbs at the moment. In his limited opportunities, Nico looked like a freshman qb. Finishing the season at 9-4 is much better than 8-5 and I would be shocked if Milton doesn’t play significant minutes. His draft status is far from certain and he needs the opportunity just like his decision to play in the Senior Bowl
Why is winning an exhibition game more important, than having film on Nico to show prospective transfers?Heupel will coach to win the game and that more than likely means Milton will play. Milton era is over. It’s not even a talking point anymore. At this point it’s like discussing Hendon Hooker or Dobbs era. It’s a thing of the past, get over itHeupel will coach to win the game and that more than likely means Milton will play. All I know is if I never have to watch Milton airmail another deep ball(28% on the year, woof) then I’m good. The last time I checked it’s still the same season that started in September and Milton is the starting qb. By your logic, Milton should have been the starter vs. Clemson last season regardless of Hooker’s injury
