The mob is alive and well. Vegas runs college football.

I guess it was just a coincidence that UNLV was one of the teams.

Get gambling out of college sports. The officiating might get better, especially if they're families aren't being held for ransom during the games.
And...THAT...is the other main reason I am f'n sick of everything. What is the point if playing fixed/manipulated games?

There is still this little small voice in me that whispers "it is not fixed, you are just being paranoid"...and it gets quieter every choke hold-arm bar that gets applied to George Pearce and our other defenders..😒

I hate it when Jorge Peerce gets held.

I think these two may be father and son....
Nope...unlike CL, I actually believe we will get better over the years if we stay supportive of Heupel and don't go toxic over every bump in the road.

I just point out the fact that there are going to be bumps in the road...it is freakin inevitable.

NFL is horrible. But people love football. So people will watch what they love no matter how bad it is. Perfect example is us watching Tennessee football 2009-2021
Jmo, but I can't grasp this. The NFL has elite parity. The best teams can easily have 4 or 5 losses.

Maybe if you like to see dominance vs parity. Sort of why some like EPL vs Premier League. To each his own...but close games are fun and it at least has that huge advantage over other football. Watch Redzone any Sunday and you'll see game after game go to the wire. Half of college games are blowouts from the start tbh.

It's also amazing how fast the game is. I think that's what made me begin to appreciate it. Comparing it to most of CFB is like mollasses...just how dang fast they get off the ball, the QB must get rid of the ball, etc. Pretty amazing to watch.

But I'll always love cfb 100x more because it's what I grew up on and I actually have a team to root for. I mean, like the Niners and root for em, but there's no love there 😆

What's with all the negative 🐮💩?
Since when is realism "negative"...is it just because you don't want it to be true?...I agree with you...I don't want it to be true either.

I'm not bitching and pissin at the staff...I'm not the one going toxic about every little thing that doesn't go like I want it to or think it should....that is true negativity, and I've not done that.

If I hire a UT athlete to endorse my products, it's absolutely deductible as an advertising expense. 🫣
That's a business. The individual is applying the expense at the SP, LLC, SCorp, etc, level - some type of tax entity.

Think the OP's point was it won't be deductible for an individual that doesn't apply the "expense" to a business entity. I mean, guess you could make one up and file losses for up to 3 years iirc and try to get away with it, but I mean...

The demographics are all over the place, even by race, but it's flown up the past 2 decades to be clear #2.

NFL demographics right now are interesting. More people of color watch the NFL but that's a combined stat (drawing from all people of color). I don't know what viewership was in years prior but I'd guess white males are slightly less football obsessed than in years past. There's a lot more sports and events competing for viewership than in years past. 20-30 years ago you had 3 choices as to what to watch but now the choices are almost limitless for a lot more people. I'd guess that the rise of multi tv households has also changed demographics a great deal.
