Agree, but there are things that happen later in life with high protein diets. Trust me, back when I could throw a football over those mountains, did SB, low carb deal. Was in excellent shape.

I think its a solid foundation. Incorporating it into a meal plan is solid. But we have to have complex carbs to help break down that protein. Id encourage anyone to seek leaner sources of protein, if they're considering a whole foods diet. Beef is good on ocassion. Def stay away from pork. Dirty meat.

Chicken, eggs, and fish. I'm sure many on here know more than I. Just smarter choices than beef, butter, and bacon.
LOL there is nothing inherently dirty or bad about about pork. All things in moderation.

No argument with this. Sadly, I'm speaking mostly on what's on the field for the Iowa game. Maybe the timing and chemistry between Nico and Webb/Nimrod clicks since they likely worked together as the backups? Hopefully the limited experience plus the bowl prep has them much better prepared. Remains to be seen if they can operate well enough against Iowa's defense. If we decide to run our regular offense, we might be able to create some confusion against their zone. More likely is that we'll have to hit the soft spots/seams in the zone and be more methodical. Hoping Nico is better prepared for that than perhaps Milton was? Dunno.
Oh gotcha, thought it was a next season statement not Iowa game. Mostly agree in that case. Nico has had full reps in bowl prep with the WRs and the offense. Hopefully they are building on that rapport and we see glimpses of it against Iowa.

"Damned", huh? lol Seems some of you are incredibly thin skinned, melodramatic and want to post your opinion without them being subjected to scrutiny.

You do realize how discussion forums work, right?

How about tone down the victim complex? Online discussion isn't Auschwitz.
I thought when someone stated an opinion on a message board that meant they wanted to discuss it…???

I don't "hate" any person. I can hate a program. As to Saban, he will go down as the all time great. I don't view him as great at all because he's been able to play by a different set of rules. His success will always be tainted in my eyes.
Great I can buy into. Greatest I am not sure based on the number of different coaches that have done it there. Now, had he done that a few miles west in Starkville it would be pretty undeniable. Not sure I couldn’t get a few NC at Bama since I am not named Mike.

I’m not sure if that’s true. If it is, that would be a very very bad sign.

I think it may be more joes .50 caliber arm when we needed a 9mm pass.
I think it was a combination of that and, even moreso, Joe's inability to go through reads quickly as the throwing windows tighten in the red zone.

Todd Helton had an all-time 5 year run ‘00 - ‘04 where he slashed -
.350 / .450 / .650 / 1.100 for 160+

He averaged -
200 H, 50 2B, 40 HR, 125 RBI, 125 R & 8 WAR

He was a machine 😂

Hell, most guys would have killed for the numbers he put up after that - a .320 hitter putting up 130 OPS+ with 40 2B & 20 HR.

He makes the Hall this year.

LOL this is the same group who said processed meat is as dangerous as cigarettes.

The nitrates and nitrites are the alleged carcinogens. Not the meat. There is literally zero evidence for uncured meat inherently being a carcinogen. Don't fall for propaganda.
The World Health Organization, and National Cancer Institute, and UK's top Cancer Org are propaganda?

American Cancer Society recommends not eating red meat. Think i'll listen to my Doc, and qualified authorities.
