I don't "hate" any person. I can hate a program. As to Saban, he will go down as the all time great. I don't view him as great at all because he's been able to play by a different set of rules. His success will always be tainted in my eyes.
You see his massive success as tainted. . . I see him as a successful massive taint.

"Damned", huh? lol Seems some of you are incredibly thin skinned, melodramatic and want to post your opinion without them being subjected to scrutiny.

You do realize how discussion forums work, right?

How about tone down the victim complex? Online discussion isn't Auschwitz.
Thin skinned huh? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Yes the damned part was melodramatic, fire for effect. Lol, not sure about being a victim, just a passionate fan with a different opinion.

It seems you prefer to engage in argumentation. Not calling you contentious. Its my personal experience, that online discussion, or discussions in general arent a mathematical equation, or Venn Diagram. There is emotion in being a CFB fan.

Get out your DSM5, and analyze all my posts if you wish. LOL, I'm sure you'll find all sorts of PA, sociopathic goodies in there. 😉

Personally I get enough jerking off of my frontal lobe at work M-F for a lifetime. Bur you do you. Whatever floats your boat. Just understand, that in an online forum people may not agree with your opinions either.

Your choice if you want to engage in point-counterpoint/argue/or change opinions (which will never change). Seems like a waste of time and energy, er an exercise in futility.

The good thing is, going into Hyatts last season you could have said the same thing about him that we are saying right now about a number of receivers. Hyatt worked hard that off-season and kept it up the rest of his time here and it paid off for him big time. Squirrel had almost double the yards this year than Hyatt had his first two years. Lots of potential within that group let’s just hope they take that lesson from Hyatt and work hard this off-season.
No argument with this. Sadly, I'm speaking mostly on what's on the field for the Iowa game. Maybe the timing and chemistry between Nico and Webb/Nimrod clicks since they likely worked together as the backups? Hopefully the limited experience plus the bowl prep has them much better prepared. Remains to be seen if they can operate well enough against Iowa's defense. If we decide to run our regular offense, we might be able to create some confusion against their zone. More likely is that we'll have to hit the soft spots/seams in the zone and be more methodical. Hoping Nico is better prepared for that than perhaps Milton was? Dunno.

What are you even talking about?

You're free to post-and-forget and not want much discussion on a discussion board. You just sound kind of odd to post on a discussion board, complain that it creates discussion, and then poor-mouth as though coming here for discussion is somehow a strange thing for someone to do.

Maybe you should just write your stray thoughts in a Google Doc? It's still online, but you'll never have to worry about someone responding to it. Everybody wins.

Nobody victims like Vol fans victim

I don’t even understand how that works
Someone on a podcast said something about it being related to locking down the pads they use to review the film. So they can't be hacked etc. It also could be used to combat internal personnel threats for guys potentially leaving who could make money by sharing their internal intel. Speaks to the depths of cheating being monitored.

Also, consider this:

You post all snarky-insults and ****ty-mocking someone online, knowing they'll probably never see it or confront you about it, then act as though someone engaging you in direct conversation is some sort of breach of etiquette.

This is truly an odd time in the world.

Awesome!

It's a huge step to make his first start in the bowl game against a good defense that reputedly excels in taking away the run and disguising coverages.

It's worth remembering when it's brought up that Peyton started in our bowl game his freshman year, that Manning had already played in all 11 games and started the last 7. He entered the bowl game as SEC Freshman of the Year.

I think Nico will excel, but I'm not going to freak out if he makes a mistake. I am so excited to see him play and lead the youth movement.

My money is on Bru not returning and Stewart jumping in the boat. Not so sure Bru’s recovery wouldn’t go into next season.
If I remember correctly, he was supposed to be back in a limited or full status as early as January/February. I can’t remember the details of why the prognosis was better than expected though. Maybe doc can remind us when he sees this post in 2024.

Some of you spend so much time bitching about the good ole days that your missing the fun in front of us. This chaos is opening new opportunities for parity. The playoffs have the best mix of teams in forever and we are headed toward a playoff that will be 10 times more exciting than a pc selected BCS or commshitte selected 4 team that leaves somebody out. We are leaving divisions and ridiculous unfair matchups for rotations so maybe we can have some variety for a change. We are the best we have looked and part of that is we are seizing the change and not fighting it.

Change is not all bad.
That post and the one I replied to from Sweets was directly referring to the corrupt on field officials, not the state of CFB in general, but since you brought it up...I am not against ALL the changes, I actually love the 12 team playoff and that players are able to get something from their work, but I absolutely hate all of the corrupt chaos, there has to be some way to impose some fair competitive integrity on and off the field.
