LOL, play calls were questionable. One coach was like........ He's tiring to lose this game...... Other coach was like...... We've got to try and lose harder!Ewers wasn’t gonna get out choked lol
Michigan is above the national championship talent thresholdThis matchup debunks the myth that you have to have top 5 classes to win a title. Neither Washington nor Michigan has even a top 10 class on the current roster, much less a top 5.
Wouldn’t necessarily say not having top classes doesn’t help. Michigan plays 1 or 2 real games a season. SEC is more of a gauntlet. Washington has an extremely elite QB with 3 elite receivers (Jayden Daniels had a better year but he doesn’t have 3 elite receivers to work with and Washington’s defense is better than LSU’s imo) that equalizes things for them. They’d likely have a loss in the SEC if they had played in this conference as well. This matchup debunks the myth that you have to have top 5 classes to win a title. The difference is you don't need a top 10 class to get out of the B10, B12 or Pac 12 but you would be 8th or 9th in the SEC without a Top 10 class. Plus add in Texas and OU next year. I get what you saying but getting out of the SEC is so much harder than any other conference. This matchup debunks the myth that you have to have top 5 classes to win a title. Didn’t say it doesn’t help. Just saying it’s not the absolute requirement some make it out to be.Wouldn’t necessarily say not having top classes doesn’t help. It would matter if they played in the SEC. I think that’s the point most are saying. SEC has the most elite athletes of any conference by a country mile. UGA was likely the best overall team in the country even though they lost to Bama in the conference championship game. Your chances to get beat in our conference increase dramatically just because of the talent level across the teams.Didn’t say it doesn’t help.
