Haven’t seen next year’s OL play. How do you know they’ll be trash?
I think it's something along the lines (get it?) of that he has seen Dayne Davis with his own two eyes and neither he, nor anyone else on the roster or who will be on the roster can play RT in the SEC.

We have a potential generational talent at QB and we're going to give him the Dayne and Lane train for protection. It's quite frustrating and will be even more so to watch next season if we don't better develop our younger guys or get experienced depth from the portal; which it would appear we're going to strike out on with our weekend visits.
Ohhhh..... how cute! The Dayne and Lane train.

Back to constant bitching. Not just you. Pretty much errybody.
Might as well get it out of our system. Love this staff, just tarred of the losses. Doesnt make sense. Its a tall ask to rely on the chances of getting a highly sought after portaler, the kid should already be on campus. That is on them, and a lot of people dont want to hear that.

Anyway, necks.

Yes our OL class looks nice this yr but it’s a massive problem that we gotta wait until atleast yr 5 at best until any HS OL recruit actually contributes under this current OL Coach. Terrible.
Chop it up how you want, but we've developed some very good OLs since Heupel has arrived.

Any level of fret is just projecting at this point. Season after season we've heard of OL concerns, only for us to come out blocking well.

The onus atp is on the doubters. Is the body situation concerning? Sure. But Elarbee has earned benefit of the doubt so far.

I talk regularly with a P5 OL coach. The transfer OTs know they are in high demand and most have unreasonable NIL demands. In addition many want to be promised to play LT. That combination makes recruiting more difficult, especially if you have a proven LT.
Many also want to be promised they will start. These circumstances can lead to terrible morale within the position group when you overpay for someone who has not proven to put in the work and be a good teammate.

I mean, what are your expectations for an OL coach?
Multiple 4 & 5*s that bomb under poor development...

Like Pruitt and Butch.

Just remember, this is really about how we feel about the future. Not what's been proven on the field. The RF should probably apply as a CFP committee member.
