It is beyond frustrating that programs like TCU and Washington can make championship games but Tennessee cannot. Things are obviously trending in a better direction, but man I want the feeling of playing in this game. I want to see Tennessee win a national title in something…..it’s been so damn long.

Trash conferences allow bad teams to make the playoff. A 12 team playoff will weed them out going forward.

They get there bc their schedule is far inferior than ours. Tennessee is undefeated with tcu’s schedule last year and we are at least 10-2 with washington’s schedule this year.

It’s not the amount it’s always when and how it’s called. Much like Bama, it’s amazing how many calls typically happen early and then when they are up, the flags start coming late. It makes the totals look like it was called fair when it wasn’t.

Washington played a bunch of good teams this year and won all but 1.

UGA played a pansy a** schedule and when they faced meaty okra Bama they lost lol

Washington would skulldrag UGA. Michigan, now seeing them H2H...even worse.

Losing to Bama says they were never a top 4 team. Even Tx whipped them...at their own place. Uga just hardly played anyone all season. It was NOT 2022 UGA.

Us SEC fans often can't fathom that good coaches, players and teams ever exist outside of our conference.

Everyone else sucks no matter what.

on that note USC and UCLA moving to the Big-10 is kinda scary. There are only 3 teams in major colleges in mega markets. UCLA, USC, and Miami. IF someone gets their act together and organizes their collectives they will be almost impossible to compete with in NIL. Miami is stuck in the ACC and UCLA is the clippers in that breakdown to USC's Lakers. Imagine how scary that is? Hey you wanna be an actor, rapper date supermodels? Come to USC. Get NIL deals with stores on Rodeo Drive. No idea why no agency in Hollywood has organized it yet.

Truly a modern delusion too. Only became "the best" the last 15 years and Saban inspired much of the mythology and the other teams rode off the wave, rankings bias, and cheating to boot.

And now that Sankey et al effectively killed off multiple other conferences, his myth can continue

Never understood this theory. You’ve got to have time to build. Granted when a Butch or Pruitt prove they don’t have the confidence of the players you have to start moving on. But this have to win the SEC by year 3 is insane.
