I dont know if this is real, but that quote about Vandy. I want it to be.

That's the closest thing to a compliment Vanderbilt football may ever get.

It isn't even illegal to steal signs. We have dudes running around with curtains for a reason.

I don't think it's common to have a dude running a full operation of buying tickets and stealing signs from the stands for dozens of games. It's comical how absurd that is.

I'm sure teams have tried to steal signs during the course of a game. I'm sure teams have tried to infer signs from what they have learned from previous games against that team. I don't believe teams are doing what Michigan did. I just don't believe that. Maybe Bama is. "Everyone is doing it" is the first words out of the mouth of a cheater.

Exactly. It's kind of like the Astros in baseball. Runners on second steal signs all the time, a first base coach my see something that tips a runner or hitter off. A pitcher might have a tell that a team sees on video. But actively using technology with a camera and buzzer system is well above and beyond

Because what Michigan did was well above the norm. Stealing signs from the sideline is one thing, maybe picking up a signal from practice tape here or there happens, but sending someone to advance scout an opponent with the purpose if stealing signs is another level. As well as hacking into another team's technology which is a federal crime.

Yeah, but obviously they couldn't find anything to stick to anyone but the dude they rolled as the scapegoat.

It really is possible (I don't believe this in the case of Michigan) that one over zealous assistant was trying to find anyway possible to elevate himself. Happens at big companies all the time. My point is the NCAA, Big 10, and Michigan all let the dragging happen for months and then basically nothing close to punishment happened...so why let the dragging go along that long? And before you say "they don't control the media" that's just straight up ********. Cause all the terrible officiating TN has seen and the complete lack of any sort of commentary on it shows very much that the conference can/do steer what is and isn't put out for story content.

Maybe they thought they would find something.

The refs vs UT thing is so overplayed.

Check out any of the posts on Twitter showing a hold on Michigan that went uncalled and you’ll find hundreds of comments about ACC officiating (was an ACC crew for the game). How bad it is. Just like the SEC. Just like the Big12. Just like the B1G.

College officiating is horrendous. And that is talked and written about.

During the game last night both announcers often pointed out missed calls on Michigan. I can't remember that happening in any TN game I watched this year.

Harbaugh already has the same level 1 violation levied against him as Bruce Pearl and when I say the same I mean the exact same violation which was lying to investigators.

Now this will go one or two ways keep in mind there is a second investigation going on for sign stealing currently. The Ncaa will go to Michigan and tell them what will happen if they retain Harbaugh next year because he 100% will receive a “show cause” penalty. This implies bowl ban, sanctions, and possibly taking away wins are on the table if they want to keep him.

Again that’s if they retain him though, I think he is bolting to the nfl like Pete Carroll did and Michigan will get a slap on the wrist like probation and loss of scholarships imo

And giving the signs to potential playoff team opponents to shape the playoff....

Tried telling my wife that when we bought it lol. I only caved on the topic because the covers of the cushions come off and are washable. Should come right out… just annoying.
My daughter super glued her hand to the carpet thinking she was painting her nails. I will never judge another parent, and dang do I get the frustration.

Of the four, only Eric has any idea what the a podcast is supposed to look and sound like. The problem there is that Eric doesn't have anything to contribute. Hubbs and AP have the pulse of the program but are comically bad at communicating in a podcast format.

Cain's podcast at least has decent production but just doesn't have anything interesting to say.
This.
