As many of GA & Bama players thats been or going into the portal and Tn cant seem to get any on campus. I know about the TE.

How many have we tried to get to campus? Why did they leave said school?

As many of GA & Bama players thats been or going into the portal and Tn cant seem to get any on campus. I know about the TE.

I'd have to assume that they might not be better than what we have, they aren't a fit or we're not in need? I mean...if you just toss kids to the side for a shiny toy from the portal, what does that signal to your young players and recruits? We talk about "culture" and how few players we really wanted have entered the portal. You start portal shopping like Kiffin and Deon, that's going to send a clear message. Personally, and it might be my age, I still believe in building a roster the old fashioned way through the HS ranks. Portal grabs are for immediate needs/depth. Yeah...I know...get off my lawn.

Also seems the staff believe that a good culture helps the team to be better than the sum of the parts, where a bad one does the opposite (see A&M).

I have zero complaints with that strategy.
