Does anyone know what services are looking at when rating transfers? Potential, years of eligibility, impact for the following year? The rankings are all over the place and doesn't make sense for many of these players

Idk. How can you got from being a 99 5* to a 93 4* after a freshman season where you either played decently or were stuck behind a Sr? Surely they're not saying their initial evaluation was that far off. . .

But Julian Sayin remains the same rank that he was recruited at. Then some like Tyler Baron has 1 year of eligibility left and he's ranked higher than he was a recruit. Then Brandon Turnage couldn't get on the field at Tennessee for an awful secondary with 1 year of eligibility left and he's ranked 86 which is the same as Moi who who started 7 games as a sophomore or Jakob Thomas who has 2 years and has played at a high level against low competition.
